Oh my God. Dear "glutes"... Are you seriously asking an escort who just started this business and opened this topic to know more about these things? Do you think he can really tell you what the law says? I advise everybody if you really would like to know the law regarding to solicitation then see an attorney ($200-300 hourly fee)... Do not rely on a person's opinion who has no previous experience, that is just silly.

Cops Should Focus on Bigger Crimes and More Dangerous Criminals...

 

These ridiculous "stings" pursuing male escorts/clients are such a fucking waste. Just make this legal and regulate it. these men just want sex with no strings. I've had many 1 night stands that were "legal" although somehow I still spend a lot of money on drinks, food, entertainment so what is the difference here? Does it make the cops/courts feel better that they caught some educated people who wanted to fill a consensual natural human desire? Tell me judges: why is it legal for me to spend $200 on a date to get laid, but if I just give the guy $200 and skip the dinner, drinks and movie...it becomes illegal? This is partly why the public has lost respect for law enforcement and judges because they only seem to enforce useless laws and then feel proud about their waste. Next, I suppose they will be entrapping and arresting potheads and j-walkers then bragging about what a difference they've made.

Well... I know you do not live here in Vegas and not clear about what exactly is going on here. In Clark county-Las Vegas we have no real crimes going on so authorities can focus on the only 2 crimes that do occur here every now and then. One is solicitation for prostitution and the other major crime is jaywalking ($250 fine) that they enforce them very frequently. Other than that, we have no drugs sellings, murders, human trafficking ...etc.

To put this bad joke aside, I am totally with you and not because I am in the industry... it is purely because it should be totally normal when two consensual adult just want to have fun... Maybe... one day ... they change this stupid law... Just think about the "Prohibition" in the 1920's and early 30's in the USA. (I know it takes a long time to go all the way back coz it was quite a while ago). People WERE buying and drinking alcohol regardless of the law... but by now everybody is laughing about it... I hope soon we can do the same about prostitution or solicitation!
