Hey guys,

I've been renting escorts for years. I've never had problems, but I still get nervous. I've always been worried about getting arrested, and since I only like to give oral, I think my chances of getting arrested are higher (I can't picture an undercover cop posing as a masseur, for example).

So my question is: What's the legal way about going about it? How is the money exchanged, etc?

Thanks for your help.

Short and simple there is no legal way to do this stuff. But you can add a bit of protection by first hire guys who have been reviewed and if you want to take it to the next level but a retainer on a good lawyer if you chose to step outside of the box and hire someone who isn't reviewed.

Hugs,

Greg

In all honesty, there is no legal way to do it, short of traveling to Canada or some other jurisdiction where it's legal. All of the various ruses and pretenses are seen through by courts in an instant.

If you are meeting someone for the first time and that person is not someone who you know for certain to be an escort, the only thing that you can do is trust your gut and try to be careful and alert. Beyond that, the main thing in your favor is that most jurisdictions (and, especially, most large cities) don't consider hiring an escort a serious enough crime or issue to spend resources setting up a sting. It does happen but it doesn't happen often. However, as I noted in another thread, this is an election year. Election years bring out local sheriffs and district attorneys who want to visibly be seen fighting crime. Stings always seem to go up in the months before an election. Be careful out there.

most cops are going to pose as clients not masseurs or escorts. sometimes female cops will pose as escorts but you rarely hear of male cops posing as male escorts. like suggested stick with those well reviewed. stay away from sites like the craiglist. If you find yourself in the room with the police most likely you will be charged with something. the charges sticking might be another matter..

Welcome to the forum guy1two. I am very much like you are. Been hiring for a long time but still get nervous about being busted even though I try to take precautions.

Certainly dealing with well reviewed escorts is the safest way to proceed. I also tend to think that most law enforcement agencies don't have the resources or much of an interest for going after this and focus more on the street corner hiring. And as josephga says, most cops are probably going to pose as clients anyway. With all that, however, there are times when hiring someone unreviewed happens and there is always a risk of a sting.

For those who haven't been reviewed, I have convinced myself (which can be easy to do when one gets horny) that I add some safety from being caught in a police sting by arranging for an outcall to a hotel I will book for the occasion and whenever possible to have the hotel in a suburb outside the main city. My logic is that cops would much prefer to deal with this on their own turf for their own safety and also so they can get a lot more guys coming to them thereby using their time more efficiently. It allows them to also have all the things necessary to make the arrest (a group of fellow officers in an adjacent/connecting room with appropriate recording equipment). Arranging the meeting in a suburb seems to me a good idea because most suburbs don't have the resources for this and probably don't have as much of a problem as the hub city. I also feel the city cops might not be that interested in sharing the arrest or going through the hassle of going outside their normal area of jurisdiction and coordinating with their suburb fellow officers for an arrest.

Other things are that I never discuss money when together and never give them the money upfront (in fact I will never directly hand the money to them at any point). I may on occasion, depending on my gut feel, have the payment on a table or night stand. I am sure that would not protect me much if it turned out to be a cop but I think it at least gives my lawyer something to work with.

For the extra cost of a room, I feel more secure from a police bust but I may be totally fooling myself.

Lets see the way to go about this is not to break the law. There is no way to exchange money for "oral" legally. Compensation is for time only. I can understands needing to discuss some details in other cases but in your case simply make the appointment and if the escort shows up, I doubt you will have trouble interacting. The other reccommendation is to never discuss the rate while you are with your escort. I ask my clients to place the fee for my time in an envelope and place it conspicuously in the room somewhere and I collect it after they leave. Never do hand to hand transaction and never use a sexual connotation and rate, cash, fee, money or payment in the same breath. As you did in your original post. That is clear solicitation and as you know that is not the business e are in. :-) Peace and good luck.. I might add that this being ytour first post makes me a bit nervous about you.. :-) Wish you the best and many great encounters with great "companions"

Newbie....If you've been "Renting for Years" I'd say it is DEFINITELY a little late to be asking this question now. Then again "getting off" on the idea of getting busted does appeal to some and adds to the Experience!

Legal Way? I'd like to see the answers you get other than those from.... NEVADA is it? HaHa

Perhaps you can hire a well reviewed escort that is a lawyer, kill two birds with one stone.. :)

(maybe we can send you to law school)

Thanks for all the advice, guys.

It sucks being in a small city because all we have is Craigslist (and the usual chat sites like Gay.com), which seems unsafe.

I've actually considered switching to more voyeuristic activities, like strippers, but I'm sure there's problems with that, too.

Thanks once more.

The only correct answer is: "Don't Break the Law!" Which requires that you know what the law in your area.

In most localities giving or getting a blow job is legal. However, in my most localities agreeing to do so for a fee is illegal.

A well-reviewed and very professional escort I know meets his clients in the hotel lobby. As soon as the elevator door closes, he grabs them and gives them a big, long, juicy French kiss with lots of tongue, figuring a cop on a sting operation would give himself away at that point. Money has not yet appeared, of course. So far as I know, he's never been arrested. You just need to figure out how to work that as a client. (No, I don't know how he manages to always snag an empty elevator -- or maybe he doesn't care.)

Brooklyn Guy is correct, lol. After two bad experiences with strippers/dancers I have crossed them off my list..

Living in a smaller town doesnt help and I know it gets frustrating. I had a friend who was a cop and also escorted ( talk about risky, wow) and he always gave me good advice on how to stay as clear of trouble, as possible, while wading in the "renting" pool. His advice: steer clear of street hustlers, never meet an escort in a hotel unless you have booked the room and be careful of Craigslist. At least in his 12 years with the vice squad, they had never set up a sting using a male undercover or set up a CL ad trying to lure m4m. They set up female ads all the time...They pretended the m4m stuff it didn't exist. They were much more concerned about "bush fucking", which was their term for public, park sex. I'm sure it could be different in other cities.

As said before, go with your gut and good luck!

Welcome Erickva! It is very unfortunate that living in a small town sometimes a guy has to make a choice in an atmosphere like you say.

Not all are Lucky enuff to live in a "Big City Candy Store"..BUT again more CHOICES to make because it is easier for a GUY to "Work it" without the Sting Scenario!

But then it switches from Police Stings to SOMETIMES Working Guy SCAMS! BUT I'm thinking being Scammed in the long run is the LESSER of the 2 Problems in the long run!
