Apple iPhone4 fix?

Apple is making their much anticipated announcement/confession about the findings on the reception problem that is widely reported. There is much speculation about how they will deal with this incident by offering free phone covers or a full recall. Without doubt, they won't be recalling the phones but I am interested to see what the fix, if any will be. It's simply a hardware problem.

 

Luckily I haven't had any dropped calls or problems with my device but I seem to be the minority.
