There are quite a few guys who IF asked will give their Contact Info bypassing their AGENCY, IF and when they feel comfortable in the setting up of their own appointments! ;)

This is nothing NEW and quite a few after establishing enuff "Regs" will usually start to Advertise on their own and Freelance! Quite a few "Working Guys" started with Agencies in NYC that way. It's called getting EXPERIENCE.

Unfortunately "The RIVER" Story sounds more like that of a Working Guy who decided to try and ERASE his Occupation.

Sadly the more some guys make of Publicly Denying "Working It" the more it can become News. The Best just quietly "Move On" as so many have and will do!:)

As far as I can tell, it's inferences from the updates to his reviews: http://www.daddysreviews.com/finder.php?loc=river-0-1-10&who=river_chicago

Thanks, seeker630 for clarifying this for me (oh soooooooo succinctly). Why did the guy who started this thread and the subsequent posters lightly step when writing about River's dilemma?

I'm baffled by this but feel all right in knowing what apparently happened in my now knowing about River's situation!!!

I agree with you 100%. I hired him several times and he did the same thing to me. He was a nice guy, but he was not wise. I cannot say for everything, but I had a bad experience.

The pictures of River that used to be on the Windy City Boys website were real and definitely photos of River, who was an escort on the site. His version of events on his review page about his pictures being hijacked and used without his permission is BS. He obviously got found out by family and friends and had to come up with a fake story. And filing a false police report in an attempt to cover his tracks is pretty foolish.

I hired River some time ago through Windy City Boys. What struck me is that he freely offered his own contact information and encouraged me to get in touch with him directly and bypass Kennedy and Windy City Boys if I wanted to meet again, all while still being listed as an escort on the site. A friend in Chicago who hired him through Windy City Boys told me that River did the same thing with him. He’s obviously been stealing clients from Kennedy and keeping them for himself. Not surprising that he ended up in hot water.

And it’s curious that the reviewers who submitted reviews quickly wrote to the site to have them removed. Obviously River was in contact with them and in panic mode to have all of his information pulled down.

Ah, but that’s the point. River never advertised or freelanced on his own. The M4RN and Rentboy ads I’ve seen for River were always linked to Kennedy. It would be different if River had gone out on his own, but he obviously took advantage of establishing repeat clients through Kennedy’s publicity and distributing his personal contact info to clients he met through Kennedy, while remaining on his site for a looong time. Most likely without his knowledge. That’s disingenuous IMHO.

I wasn’t at all surprised to see things blow up here with River making bogus claims about his pics being stolen. I got the definite vibe from my meeting with him that he wasn’t kosher and was the type who would screw anyone (no pun intended) and do or say anything to make a buck, and it eventually caught up with him somehow. Karma always gets ya. What goes around comes around.

We'll see how the thing goes. I am sure he still keeps clients.

Anyway, I hope his family and friends got convinced and he goes back to old days!
