Two more quick questions.

 

A couple more questions:

 

1.) When using hot wax, I imagine it is important to get a wax variety which does/doesn't have too high a melting temperature. Is there any general rules for picking candles etc which wont burn too hot...if that is ever a problem?

 

2.) When using ball weights, they look like they are hard to attach....is the process of putting them on complex, like a cockring, and they seem to have a gap how do you get them to stay on...is there a crew or something else to clamp them down...

You want a reasonably low melting point... as I recall paraffin wax which is what is often used for candles has a melting point of 130 degrees Fahrenheit, but it can vary. At any rate, one trick of the trade is to have the wax fall from a high vantage point so it will cool on the way down... I personally have not bought any wax recently, but in college we used to make candles in small chemistry beakers and as I recall that type of paraffin wax had a relatively low melting point... now while I did take chemistry, I am not an expert on wax and melting points so I defer to others in that department. Plus there are other types of wax, such as bee's wax,that have different amounts of oils and consequently different melting points...

 

Something tells me Raul is probably a candle stick maker as well!

 

Warning about wax... it is fun, but messy. The last time I had it done the guy had a vinyl cover over his bed... However, once wax gets on upholstery, a rug, or clothing,... it's is very difficult to remove.

 

Incidentally CBT with wax in conjunction with ice cubes can be quite the experience.

I'm not exactly sure to the type of weights to which you are referring, but it is usually a try on before you buy type thing... I did so at the Leatherman in NYC a couple of years ago and the damn weights kept sliding off... and yes they do have private booths to try such items out. I ultimately decided on a parachute with fishing sinker weights that are attached with a simple S hook.

Still, with any such C&B toys they are indeed sometimes difficult to get in place... For example, there are different styles of C&B separators and I usually use my own simply because I know how to put the damned thing on... and still it often takes several tries to get the thing lined up properly, as one of my boys always seems to want to elude the silly thing.

Those kind of weights can take some practice, as with cock rings the size seems more related to the skill of the wearer. Usually one needs a smaller size than they think they do although they will usually need to practice with a larger size. Ball stretchers are good for getting some practice at putting things on your balls. It seems to matter how developed, flexible, stretched and controllable, or relaxable is your cremaster muscle more than the size of your nuts.

Rarely a candle stick, though I do occasionally make a candle, mostly from other candles that are either no longer servicable or just need to be remade, easy just throw it in a double boiler, stick a wick in a glass, pour the molten wax in. A quick an easy source for low temperature candles are some mexican votive candles found in many mexican groceries.

Plus I would assume it is made out of stiff leather. It seems as though it

would fit nicely over a set of balls. Plus the 2 snaps might actually make it easier to put on. Most cheap models are made of flimsy leather and or are not as conical in shape so that the thing sags when the weights are attached and does not look very aesthetic when worn... Even the one I bought at the Leatherman in NYC does not look very visually pleasing when used with heavy duty weights.

Interesing... Now I know the thing is supposed to "hurt"... but it also needs to be comfortable to wear as well... kind of an oxymoron... but one wants to be able to endure the pleasure for as long as possible. I have found that some models tend to cut and chafe the area above the balls where it is fastened. Consequently, if the parachute is fabricated so that the material in that area has a beveled, rounded, or softer effect most likely by stitching another smoother material to cover that area it is more comfortable to wear over the long haul.
