I think I have mentioned this before about Nick but it "bares" repeating. I hired Nick for an overnight back in 2004. It was in the middle of the week. I think it was the week before Christmas. For some reason that I can't remember now we didn't start our meeting until around 9 or 10 pm. When Nick found out it was my first visit to NYC as an adult, he wanted to show me some nice bars in the area of my hotel so I could get a feel for NYC ( strangely enough I had without knowing it booked a hotel on the same street, although on the other side of Times Square from the Gaiety ( I think it was a Comfort Inn). I am not into dancing and no one really wants to see me shake my booty, so these were not dance clubs. It turned out that all the bars around where I was staying were pretty dead that night probably from being midweek and right before Christmas, and Nick said he was sorry that the bars weren't more lively. Then the next morning Nick had some extra time, so we went for breakfast together. When we finished, Nick paid for my breakfast. As we left the restaurant, it started raining a partially icy type of rain because it was so cold. I had come in from coastal Texas. While I had a heavy coat, I hadn't brought anything else to deal with cold weather. Nick gave me his hat to protect my bald head from the rain. To sum all this up in 4 words-- Nick is a great guy.
