I've worked with Dave at Man-to-Man for several hires and all his guys have been fantastic. He really makes sure that there's a good fit as far as his guys are concerned. Furthermore, the rates are highly competative, if not better, than the average fees for LA.

 

As for David Forest, there a lot of stories about the guy that give me pause about dealing with his "agency". While everyone is entitled to benefit fo the doubt, Mr. Forest winds up with a lot of issues in his wake. Sort of makes me question the guys who do actually choose to link up with him such as Mark Dalton and others. Smoke, fire and all that...:eek:

I had a very unpleasant experience with him, and found him to be a rude, abrasive, insulting money grabber> I have no-one to blame but myself for ever getting involved, and sensed the stupidity of my actions at the time, but was thinking with my dick and not my brain alas, I would warn anyone to steer well clear of him-I wasn't able to publish the photo of Chris Rockway on his page, but I swear I have it here sent as a circular email by Forest, so I hope Rockways REAL manager takes issue with it>

I understood you original post, perhaps because I hired a porn star (Billy Brandt) through a really bad agency in Denver (perhaps called Boys Next Door, not sure of the name). The owner must have graduated from the David Forest School of Escort Agencies. LOL

 

Brandt did show up, but it was a fu-king joke -- the agency not Billy Brandt. At that point Brandt was working for Falcon. I believe he later went to work for David Forest. This is about a decade ago, and hasn't exactly been in the forefront of my mind.

The next weekend I attended a wedding in Denver (talk about how random life can be). I did my own survey in gay bars on what the locals thought of Boys Next Door. No surprises, the escort agency, especially the owner/manager, was hated by everyone.

 

The only reason the Billy Brandt thing worked out is become he had just moved close to where I live in Philadelphia. Boys Next Door's only task was to give Brandt my phone number.

I used to look at the Boys Next Door site all the time probably around 12 years ago when I first started looking for escorts. I even spoke to the proprietor a few times ( I didn't actually hire my 1st escort until around 5 years later- but those phone calls were the equivalent I guess of sticking my foot cautiously into the water- it just took me a long time to totally immerse myself. It took me a long time to get over my fear of hiring having grown up in a very conservative city= "the Buckle on the Bible Belt"). One of the main reasons I looked at the site all the time was because I was in lust with Alec Powers. I never got to meet him though. But I remember after awhile hearing bad reports about that agency- I can't remember exactly where. Possibly it was through the Hooboy Message Center or possibly it was from the Porn Star Forum on the Atkol site ( at one point they locked the Porn Star discussion category for years- so I quit reading it). Anyway the general theme of the discussions was that the clients would pay for what was then an extremely exorbitant fee and the escorts would basically only do a dance or striptease. If the client wanted a more interactive session, which is what they thought they were getting in the 1st place, and would then charge the client on an alacarte basis for more interactive activities. Later on during the 1st years of Man to Man Escort Site in a conversation with Dave, he warned me against doing business with Boys Next Door due to the business practices of the owner.

 

While I am glad that I never was cheated by Boys Next Store, I still wonder what Alec Powers is doing today and am

sorry I never had a chance to meet him and maybe Travis Wade.
