I strongly recommend that you look for a hotel in one of the “safe” neighborhoods in Mexico City. Chapultepec Park/Polanco, Zona Rosa, and Centro Historico would all be good choices. When you make your reservation explain that you are a North American in the city on business and inquire about the possibility of having local businessmen in your room for meetings. You certainly shouldn’t have to explain what type of business you intend to transact. When you have this matter settled I strongly recommend that you have the escorts visit you. I would NOT under any circumstances visit them.
