In my many years on this forum this is the most tame conversation ever regarding BN.

 

Not his best photo and it is the eyes. I think sometimes many guys try so hard to have the "look" it can come off cheesy. I found him to be anything but cheesy. A true professional who is tall and has a very good bod. He attracts a lot of stairs when going out but never wavers his attention to anywhere but you. He is on the higher side for price but not over the top. I would think he would be an excellent travel companion, given his international experiences and ability to make it about you. Although this is somewhat review-ish, this is what I put in the review I had posted sometime back.

 

He could definitely use a better professional photographer.

 

Bart, knowing what you know now about BN, (blind items about competitors HIV status and arrest records in his blog, admitting to serial plagiarism for same blog, and revealing clients professions to other clients) would you hire him again?

Glutes, I understand where you are going with this but if we did a Litmus Test on every escort we hired, couldn't we easily find some flaws in everyone's character including our own? Should that stop us from hiring someone who's well reviewed and has repeat clients?

 

Personally, I base my hiring on personal attraction, reviews from others, and compatibility... If I choose to see them again, it's because of the good experience I had.

 

If an escort did me wrong, by not providing what we had agreed to or ripped me off in any way, then I would end all contact.

Couldn't agree with you more Coop. Im not looking for a long term relationship with an escort and I can overlook alot of their flaws as long as I have expectations of a fun time with someone I find attractive/hot. I've been with BN many years ago when he was just starting out and even knowing what I now know now about all the things that have gone on, I would not hesitate to hire him again because I personally find him attractive and know that I would have a good time with him.

More info is better than less, and for those who have the interest they can sift through all of it to see what info (the info itself and the person providing it) that they find credible, biased, lies, half truths, etc. Everyone has their own criteria to assess the info and make their decision. I've been around long enough to take all the info/history/background on Mr. Nicholas into consideration and I would have no problem hiring him (if I could afford him that is).

Glutes, as usual, you're doing your level best to stir the pot with half-truths and outright speculation. Where in any of BN's advertising does he say that he only takes overnight-minimums now? Or, that he can only fly premium class when visiting his clients? And that whole 'top accommodation' clause? Where is that again? Would you regale us with that information you have access to...

 

I know for a fact (after traveling with BN to see clients together) that he never asks for biz or first class. He, like any frequent flier, is bumped up thanks to his status.

Ok I have received more pm's from posting on this thread than any other. even helping newbies which I find more rewarding. What is clear is no one wants this thread to continue so this will be my last post on the topic of Mr Nicholas himself but there is a larger issue I will get to. I wish Mr. Nicholas well. He has some ardent fans which shows he must do something right and I am sure that he is the man many people wish to spend time with. As I am in NY and still in my mini-crush faze It really matters little my opinion one way or another. I only commented at first without knowing the shit storm I was stepping into, that the picture did not do anything for me although I felt all the right components were there.

 

That being said. I post now only because an escort who I do not know personally (OK confirming Not MY escort as you all know) but whose posts I have often enjoyed, as have we all, contacted me. In that discussion it came clear the muzzle that many escorts feel on the forum. The one that keeps many escorts from chiming in where they believe appropriate for fear of backlash. I personally believe that is wrong, not the escorts feelings but the fact that it happens. But it may be unavoidable given the nature or the site. He felt strongly about this and other posts and had a message he wished he could give.

 

I have repeated that message here for him as I feel it is a good message and should be heard. I agree with much and disagree with some but I believe it should be heard. Thus I choose to reprint his submission in private to me which he has asked me to do. While I do believe our place here is reviewing and even nit-picking at times the benefits of escorts individually and as a whole. I think we often forget that these are people with feelings and that our comments while maybe true or not can be hurtful. I am not saying we have done that here but lets be careful. While we may need to review and critique. There is a fine line between critique and criticize. I think we cross that alot and just need to be aware we can hurt people. Even those tough skinned working guys. I know they put themselves out there for this type of review ... but... a little humanity even in critique can go a long way. If I see someone - a client, or another escort, or a friend, or my parent’s friends - and I can say something nice that is genuine, then I do. Likewise, if I see something not so flattering on someone, I was raised to keep quiet (haven’t you heard, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all?”) Yes, this is a free space to ramble, a free country to express yourself in, but what about manners, respect, thoughtfulness?

Does a man not get any credit for working on his body? Or does he just get ripped apart for doing so? Is he not a person with feelings, like the rest of us? How must he feel to read some of the stuff written here?

Or does that just not pertain, because he is an escort - and this is a review site - so that gives one carte blanche to review whatever, about anyone? Seems like there’s no need to be confined to reviews of a client’s experience with the escort. Why not review his glasses? His clothes? His pose? His car?

 

I dont even know BN, but I feel I have to defend my escort brother... and in doing so, I am in a sense defending myself. And yet, with the atmosphere here, I’m not yet willing to state this with my name attached. I may get ripped apart, too - or at best, I risk breaking the fantasy of me being a great escort.

 

I wish there were more breathing room here - but I’m not sure how that could come about. Maybe it’s the nature of this site (and most internet forums.)

As to your main point, many of us are conflicted about escorts. Sometimes that comes out on our posts. And many escorts are conflicted about their jobs. Sometimes that comes out in how they behave.

 

And, of course, some of us, escorts & punters alike, are just natural born assholes. :o Sometimes that comes out too.

Well, once again a BN thread zooms on forever. Perhaps it is time to close this particular trip down memory lane down. Granted it has been more civl than most, but the sides have certainly been picked and I don't see anyone moving. So perhaps this should be the end. On the other hand, I would ask Tom to open a new thread addressing the issues raised in that letter he received. Perhaps deleting the direct references to any particular escort, just to try to keep it from devolving into yet another BN threat. Hey how about that Steven Draker, just to touch on a less volatile subject.
