A Strip Club Grows in Brooklyn

Last night was the first time I attended a private event at the Adonis Lounge. I had read some positive reviews and was ready to give it a shot.

 

The club opens at 8pm and dancing starts at 8:30. When I arrived, I was greeted by the manager Tim and a very friendly doorman. The cover was $12 but with the discount coupon available to all members of this site, I got $2.00 off. I was also given a discount pass for the next event.

 

The doorman gave me the grand tour. Showed me where to hang my coat, where the rest rooms were, the area for lap dances, and the champagne room. He said if I had any questions he'd be happy to answer them... I was impressed with this warm welcome.

 

Since the dancing hadn't started yet, I ordered a beer: $5.00 and later a mixed drink: $8.00. I joined my friend "foxy" at a table near the stage and waited with anticipation for the show to begin.

 

The club is average size, with a large sofa area for lap-dances, behind that is the VIP room. There's a small stage with a pole and the tables/chairs are located facing it. There is also limited seating at the bar. The club has a good state of the art lighting and sound system... This location has a lot of possibilities and, as time goes on, I'm hoping to see more privacy in the lap dance area and putting the balcony to better use, (currently used as a changing area for dancers). Also, it would be nice to have some bar snacks available.

 

One of the first dancers to perform was JR. Unlike other clubs, these dancers enter stage for their 1st song wearing only their skimpy and revealing bikini briefs. JR was amazing. He's good looking, with a nice solid muscular build, very enthusiastic, and sported a user friendly huge-n-thick boner (size queens will love him and bottoms will cry out for more!). As his 2nd song began, he whips out this monster cock and begins to pleasure himself to a point where I was saying to myself "shoot, shoot". Apparently, I wasn't the only one thinking that as the patrons became very still waiting for him to explode. At this point, JR turns to us and says, "Why is everyone so quiet?"... Hey, he got my tip and captivated the entire club with a most memorable and erotic stage show... I followed up with a most gratifying lap dance.

 

As more and more dancers began to arrive, I would say 1/2 I recognized from other clubs and the rest were new to me or to dancing. One newbie who caught my eye was Mike. A youthful looking dancer, slender build, looked nervous, but began to get more and more comfortable as the night went on. Mike was the 2nd dancer I did a lap dance with. Since he never did this type of work before, I showed him the ropes. I explained that when giving a lap dance think of yourself as a jockey riding a race horse. He sat on my lap facing me and straddled me with his legs. He caught on fast with the thrusting and grinding. Mike quickly became my favorite of the night.

 

There were over a dozen dancers working. The range was from twink to muscle. The friends I was with all found some dancers that captured their attention.

 

Last night Buffdaddy worked the club as co-promoter/mc and brought with him some of his famous buffboyzz. Nice additions to the lineup. Buffdaddy, as the professional he is, made everyone feel comfortable and important. He adjusted the volume of the music just right and clearly announced each dancer. Throughout the night there was always a dancer on stage... I'm hoping this combo of Tim and Buffdaddy works. They are both dedicated to making this club succeed and providing us guys with some alternatives to male strip clubs in NYC. These men truly understand what we are looking for when attending a strip club. The motto here should be "yes we can"...

 

As the night went on more and more customers arrived and, by the time I left, the place was almost packed.

 

The next event will be Thursday, February 18th. Since I had such an enjoyable time, I definitely will return. There were a few Hoovillians in attendance but I'm hoping to see and meet more at the next event.

If you are taking the subway from Manhattan it's a pretty easy trip. I did it from 42nd Street and 8th Avenue using the E and G trains. Took 22 minutes ( I timed it). It's a long block walk to the club but the neighborhood seemed safe and comfortable for walking. I had planned on leaving at 10 pm but stayed till 11:30. I was tempted to stay longer. I understand parking a car is do-able. It's worth your time. I liked most of the dancers who were friendly (as they should be) and the drinks were reasonably priced.

As reported, it was a great night for all. More crowded than ever before, so the place definitely seems to be catching on.

 

A great addition was the appearance of porn star Brenden Cage (Playgirl, Jake Cruise) who long time CLUB 20 regulars may remember as Matt from Philadelphia (Part of that old Philly Boys group that also included James and Ernie). He is more built and more popular than ever!

 

A fun night was had by all, and I can't wait for the next one - Feb 18.

Gosgh, I wish I had been able to make it. I didn't know it was such an easy subway ride.

 

Lots of subway options like 7, E, R, V, or L to the G.

One could also just take the L from Manhattan and have yourself a delightful dinner and interesting walk from the Bedford stop in Williamsburg.

 

If one has the time one can walk entirely from Manhattan across the Williamsburg bridge which has of course fantastic views. Walking is a fun way to get to Brooklyn Heights, Downtown Brooklyn, Williamsburg, or DUMBO.

For now, Adonis Lounge will operate on the two Thursdays/month schedule. As support grows, the plan is to make this party a weekly event. That can only happen when we have the necessary customer base, so please cum out and show support!

 

It is very possible that a "special" Friday or Saturday nite show will be held in the future.

Relax really you will have a good time and look up the hoovillians at the club. I think there are a number going. I just went for my first time on superbowl sunday and going with "the regulars" really helped. Plus they know all the dancers and all the "ins and outs" as it were. I think Im planning to go on 3/4/10 (my fave is going that night and I may want to catch up) so I will not be there this week. But I bet there are some out there going. in fact I think I saw a thread on it

I'm visiting NYC (Meadowlands actually) this weekend starting Thursday and Adonis sounds like a great time. I've only been to the strip clubs in Fort Lauderdale. I'm assuming an invite is required and I sent an email to the address listed in another thread.

 

It would be great to meet some of the Hoovillians that will be there.

 

Transportation question as I've never been to NYC. From the Port Authority Bus Terminal, how do I get there?

Get a subway map. The club is about a long block away from the Greenpoint Ave stop on the G Line. Unfortunately, G line doesn't run into Manhattan so you may have a change or two.

 

It's a bit further walk from the Bedford Ave stop on the L Line. But the L Line crosses Manhattan at 14th street and its end point is the 14th Street station and that 14th Street station is just two express stops south of the Port Authority Bus Station on the A Line. Moreover, the L Line's Bedford Street Station is the first stop outside Manhattan. See you there.
