Actually look at the ads carefully. A number of escorts (like the rest of us) have fled the city for cheaper rents in NJ. It's not uncommon to see guys advertising in NYC with the notation "taking in calls in NNJ") meaning they actually live on the other side of this great divide. For these guys, your appointment would be a local out call to which they might be able drive rather than a NYC out call for which they either have to take public transportation or to pay outrageous parking fees.

Most escorts in Manhattan don't have cars, and they don't know anything about getting around on public transport in NJ, so unless you can assure them that you are an easy walk from a PATH station, they probably will not come to you.
