You find out your escort is a convicted felon. Regardless of crime or his ratings / reviews on this or any escort site would you hire him? If your answer is yes why would you feel comfortable doing so?

LOL actually this time it was more a general question. In my case I did hire the guy once more then thought best not to after that.

Interesting question, Ryan.

There are so many hot escorts in most major cities, why take the risk if you knew in advance that a particular rentboy has a felony conviction. It may depend on what type of felony (violent crime or not?) and other extenuating circumstances, but I'm fairly certain that I would hire a different dude to get my rocks off--even if he wasn't quite as hot as the felon/escort.

Thankfully, there's plenty of sexy, non-felonious escorts to choose from these days.

Would an escort want to be with a convicted felon? I'm sure many escorts on this board have been with clients that have felony convictions.

 

In reality, our legal system tries to give felons a second chance. After 7 years for misdemenaors and 10 years for felonies, the courts no longer report the convictions while completing background checks for potential employers. We had a situation at a hospital I worked at where an employee responded "no" to the conviction question and the background check didn't report his conviction from 12 years earlier. Somehow, HR found out, and had legal check it it out. After 10 years, in California, one does not have to respond "yes" to that question. You can only go back so far.

 

Anyway, I wouldn't have a problem with it depending on the conviction and how long ago it was. Just because someone made bad choices earlier does not mean he will continue doing so
