Is it really straight guys or the fantasy of someone you are attracted to who is straight and the fantasy that they might somewhere deep be gay--or that you could make them gay--even if only as regards their relationship with you? Although I am sure on the other hand there are guys attracted to 100 % straight with absolutely no questions of their "straightness"--could it be that they really like being rejected?

Overall, it is my opinion that there are many men who have pretty blurry lines when it comes to who they have sex with (most do not consider themselves BI). I had many straight buddies in my younger days who have wanted to "try" it out, but most likely that was a limited thing (I never obliged).

 

As far as Charles is concerned, I think they guy just likes to have sex period. He comes to the Portland area from time to time for work and I have spent some time with him. I would guess that he just likes sex (he killed my nipples).

Niche porn markets, such as the one Straight Guys for Gay Eyes have identified, are best targeted online, so shelf placement is not an issue. I actually think the scene I linked was very well done, with many differences from most straight porn, intended to appeal to the sensibilities of gay men.

Many of these productions are aimed at closeted men who don't mind the wife finding porn just as long as she does not find gay porn.

There is also the market, probably much smaller, of gay men who are closeted who share porn with the wife and can enjoy this porn as much as the wife does.
