Does anyone have any info on this hottie? I know that I've seen the second picture before, but I'm not sure where. Also, some of the photos seem very professional (like an amateur porn shoot), while the others seem more natural. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I'm always a little leery when there isn't a head shot in the more natural pics.

The 411 on LOGAN

 

I met with Logan this afternoon. I'm a picky man, but he is absolutely beautiful! AND the pics he posts are more than accurate in representing his body!

 

Logan is a 26 yo Italian American gymnast, 0% body fat, stunning face, beautiful blue eyes and sexy smile. I ended up hanging out with him for a few hours. Not only did we have the most amazing sexual experience I've EVER had with ANY rentboy, but he was extremely well educated/down to earth and very friendly.

 

Lets face it fellas... The guys we pay to spend time with are most likely struggling to have other carriers: whether they are young actors or in school... etc. So in many cases fake pics get posted simply to avoid the boys being recognized and jeopardizing future opportunities than out of a need to false advertise their physical attributes.

 

Ryan or Daniel would kill to have this kids abs and especially ass (FYI - probably the hottest ass of ANY NYC rentboy - and I've been through most all of them.)

Is Logan the Real Deal?

 

I communicated by email with Logan yesterday, and he seemed very nice, but I am bugged by the fact (conceded by all) that he is using phony pictures. Silver Fox explains that many of these guys want to protect their "other" careers---but that explanation justifies an ad that does not show one's face or obscures the face in some way, and does not justify an ad that uses phony pictures.

 

Anyway, I have sent Logan an email asking about his use of Fratmen Daniel's pictures, and will see what he says.

 

Meanwhile, any verification of Silver Fox's mini-review? (Notice that his post was in fact a mini-review, which is fine with me, because it provides useful feedback to targeted questions from other posters.) This was Silver Fox's first posting on the Board---Is he a regular reviewer? (I do not know how to search for that, apologies.)

Consumer Risk Vs. Consumer Faith

 

Hi All ~

 

Though I have been following the advice and reviews of the active members in the Deli Forum for some time, it was only the coincidental meeting with Logan the same day as this thread appeared that inspired me to finally join and post an educated reply.

 

Due to this coincidence, however, I feel as though my own words and actions have been called into question by my D.R. brothers. I should expect nothing less from a forum who's only purpose is to judge and verify, but having conviction in my position I have chosen to again clamor to Logan's defense and further support claims made in my "mini-review."

 

To begin with, I must admit there are a few boys on Rentboy and other sites who need to post fake pictures in order to dupe potential customers. I do not support this type of behavior (it is a pure waste of everyone’s time and resources) but moreover increases the "risk" of shopping on Rentboy.... Then there are those boys who use photographs which are accurate in their physical representation regardless of their physical legitimacy... This act I can stand behind completely.

 

My position, at first, may seem outrageous. After all we are trying to distinguish exactly what we are paying for! Aren't we? Well, consider for a moment how common place and acceptable this type of accurate, all be it representational, advertisement is in our daily life. Billboards; magazines; commercials; filled with glue in place of cereal milk, millions of unseen safety pins perfectly tailoring boxy cuts, simulated or rigged demonstrations of product effectiveness, etc. For this reason companies spend millions on promoting a likable and trustworthy image do to the fact that consumers must purchase items (of much greater value than a rentboy) with only the good faith that what they have seen is what they will get... "good faith" is the key phrase.

 

What does all this have to do with Logan or with Daddy's Review? It is exactly the same situation: a delicate balance of "Risk" and consumer "good faith." In Logan’s case, members of Daddy’s Review seem to be more interested in wallowing in the circumstantial and unfounded “risk” of meeting him rather than believing the eye witness validations that support the “good faith” of his products representational advertisements.

 

I have met with Logan. I have seen his beautiful and flawlessly sculpted body; experienced his charming personality and educated mind. I am witness to the accuracy of his photographic representation on Rentboy and understand his fears in posting equally fabulous but genuine pictures; especially when we remember what is all too commonly forgotten on sites like Rentboy... prostitution is a federal crime!!!

 

In short, you may choose to trust hearsay and negative suspicions (who have no eye-witness experience) above other reviewers, such as myself, but why!? Would u buy a car from someone who’s review is based on no more insight than your own or would you give more credence to the word of a test driver? I will let you be the judge of that.

Sorry BG I can't agree. If I see an ad with pictures for clothes in the newspaper, when I go to the store looking for shirt or suit--I don't want to be told, "Well we have something of the same size and cut but it's a totally different color. We never really had the color in the newspaper ad." If I respond to an escort ad--there may be something that particularly attracted me to that one person over another--eyes, face, physique. If I get there and find it's not the same guy, it might be very disappointing.

I don't think this -- or anything else -- "ends this thread." The use of a fake photo by an escort in an ad is never, ever justified. Period. One can write all the words one wants on the subject and you won't ever convince me -- or most people -- that false advertising is ever justified. And it's not a good way to get business either.

Logan responded to my email + I then spoke with him on the phone. He said the old (removed) pics were of Fratmen's Daniel, not of him. So Logan's bad---but he confessed error (as the law types say).

 

I must also say that I found Logan utterly charming and plan to see him next week. Will report back, but I am pretty sure it will be a good outing.
