Re-posting this in a different area:

Hey, guys. I've had a prospective client contact me via my RentMen ad to set up an appointment for an erotic massage. My ads on RentMen and on Men4RentNow both indicate that I do erotic massage as well as escorting, and I have general rates posted on both sites. My question is, Are the posted rates considered to be my rates for massage as well as for escorting? Or are they considered escort rates only. If the latter, would prospective clients be expecting lower rates for erotic massage? -KDad Karl

I don't think anyone pays the same for a massage as they do for escorting. There are some masseurs who are really providing an escorting experience as opposed to a massage, but they want to hang on to the "masseur" label. In that case, their rate may reflect what they are actually doing.

So far the massage client and I haven't discussed rates. I'm thinking we should definitely get my rate established well in advance and was wondering how best to bring that up with him. I could ask him if he's happy with my posted rates, I suppose. Any suggestions?

I've seen a guy who escorts as well as gives massages. His escort rate is $50.00 more than his rate for a massage. So, to settle the dilemma that you and/or the client seemingly find yourselves if I read accurately-- give him two rates. This seeming has been the norm from my experience as well as from my perusing escort as well as massage rates from guys who perform both services.

In regard to "erotic massages--" what transpires is between client and "masseur." Some allow their clients lots of freedom as well as liberties; others give the client a release at the end and nothing else in terms of erotica!

Thanks for your responses, Axiom and Lucky! I decided to write to him and ask whether he was OK with the rates I'd posted on Men4RentNow, or whether he'd like to discuss massage rates with me, and he wrote back saying my posted rates were fine. So the problem's solved -- apparently to the satisfaction of us both.:)

I havea massage ad posted on Rentboys "manworks" site and from experience, you should definitely clarify a rate and exactly what is to be expected as well as what should not be expected, any gray area in this particular situation can lead to very uncomfortable on the spot moments of misunderstanding, ending what is supposed to be a positive experience for both parties on a weird and unpleasant note.
