Different color dots?

I noticed that each poster has a different color dot near the screen name. What is the significance of the different colors? Thanks - curious

Each poster also has a title below their name, which changes as they accumulate more posts. For instance, you're a 'Journeyman' now because you have more than 50 posts. Each title comes with its own colour dot below the title. In addition, there is a smaller dot to the right of every screen name which is either green if you're online or violet if you're offline.
