Someone please explain to me why someone would spend the couple hundred bucks it costs to place one of those ads when you know you're going to get busted the moment the door opens.

I've often wondered the same thing. In this fellow's case, perhaps he's planning a "get rich quick" scheme since he advertises in his headline "two weeks only." Perhaps he thought he could sweep into town, swindle as much money out of duped clients (trusting souls) as possible, and get out of town (i.e., cancel the ad) before word gets around that he's a fake.

As of 11/13, "simonD" switched out all of Simon Dexter's photos, keeping the one Rick Day pic that wasn't of the real Simon Dixter, and now has some undetermined photoset possibly from some Brazilian model... what a faker.

It looks like this is a basic ad, which I believe is only $60 or so. But point taken.
