Have contacted several advertised - and fairly well-reviewed - gents in Dallas lately. They look and sound good in their ads, but have found many to be fairly unfriendly and non-committal. Had my first no-show from a Dallas boy yesterday...for an overnight travel visit engagement - out the cost of plane fare, but maybe better off in the long run! Things that surly in Big D?

Overeasy.....Welcome to the forum.

 

Well it depends on which boy.....as always. Were they reviewed here already? What site did you find them on Rentboy or Men4rent? There are several that post here often and I would be more than happy to recommend a few in private message. Wouldn't want to offend by omission....LOL.

 

On a different note, I would recommend not paying to fly someone out until I have met them first and spent at least a dinner with them or a session. That's a lot of many to put up and get no return. Others may disagree...but thats my 2 cents worth.

Thanks Txpaytoplay. No show had not been reviewed here...but had had several telephone conversations, and all seemed well...from M4R and well reviewed there and on text reviews there. Never have had that problem before. Appreciate your input and would welcome private message from you!

Sorry to hear about your experience with Dallas Boyz.

 

I live in Dallas and i try extremely hard to show clients that there are some very professional, freindly and high quality escorts around. Just like any city you have to look around... There is everything:)

i was in dallas several weeks ago and did two overnights with two wonderful escorts: romman and ethan west. i found both outstanding in every respect and are two of the best anywhere. in fact, both will soon be coming to kansas city on my invitation as i liked them so much.

 

they were both intelligent, good company and very professional. time with them was a joy.

both were affectionate and passionate, great kissers with good oral skills and wonderful to cuddle with all night. both are handsome and masculine and can be taken any where.

 

i highly suggest both men.

I suspect you'd have better luck with Rentboy. Reviews on M4RN are bogus (escorts can delete any they chose) and the rest of the site is only marginally better.

In general, I agree with you that M4RN starred reviews are suspect--however I've done a few reviews on there so I know at least 3 are accurate:rolleyes:

I've been looking at the ads in Dallas for years--and even though Dallas is a large city --for some reason aside from Jason Carter--most of the "old time" well-known Dallas escorts--guys that advertised for years either on Rentboy or Studfiles or a few other sites that are no longer in existence- are no longer advertising for whatever reason. In fact when I first started hiring about 6 years ago, there were 4 or 5 porn stars that lived in Dallas. Now there may be some porn stars that live in Dallas, but they don't advertise. Looking at the Dallas listings today --and while it's a little difficult to tell as most of the ads don't show faces--Jason and Romann are probably 2 of the longest running ads--and Romann has only been escorting a little over a year (I didn't see Ethan West's ad up currently but maybe I missed it). So most of the people advertising on RB in Dallas currently are fairly new without much of a track record.

 

As a consequence if you want guys with a good reputation-I'd choose Romann (personal experience), Jason (unfortunately we are not compatible but he has stellar reviews), and Ethan West (going by the earlier post in this thread--no personal knowledge).

You are spot on. If you havent heard me say it in the past, I'll remind you that the younger gen. in DFW (under 40) are considered 'pretentious and flakey', namely the gay community. I remember a client telling me its "one of the most pretentious places in the world" :D I didnt hear those words so often til I moved here. I deal with it fairly often during my 'off time' but I didnt think it would be so in the business arena, but guess so.

 

I say the younger generation because compared to some other cities I've landed on, I find most clients in Dallas to be fair and courteous when it comes to setting up appts. But I would never depend on a group of Dallas guys (that I dont know well) indefinently for Saturday night plans without a backup plan. I learned my lesson(s) after about 2 months of being here. But then again, different generation. Also theres alot more people here coming from Florida and Cali, so on any given day you may happen to run into someone from either coast and the attitudes are completely different....And then you have people from Austin here who arent nearly as flakey.

Compared to other places of comparable size or smaller, there isnt alot of working guys out in Dallas. Like 'little' Miami/FTL has like 3 times the amount of guys on any given day, but there is also more demand for us there. Then you have places like Chicago and ATL that everyone wants to visit, yet there's less going on.

 

I've found Dallas to be the better option of this part of the country. I thought about Houston, with all the palm trees and ocean but Its yet to click with me.

What is it about his ad that makes you want to hire him? The pics show nothing but a bunch of body parts, non of which are remarkable, IMHO.

 

Well, I would probably try to get a facial photo if I were ever in Dallas and in a position to hire. I like the look of what I see though.

Try Zippers on Tuesday or The Tin Room on sundays or saturdays. lotsa hot strippers. have had some private time with $ome of them. all good.

Cherries the new strip club there kinda blows. managers keep switching and they have girls roaming around and a weird no-dance rule. so for a private dance, you get to body paint a dancer then watch him shower. stupid.

It has been open and has about 6 -8 dancers on weekend nights. All three clubs (Zippers, BJ's, and Tin Room have numerous dancers that will play for pay....so to speak. So if you don't find what your looking for on line.....you might just find it in one of the clubs.
