The following is completely sexist, but I can understand a female asking for more information as usually the male has the physical advantage. But I have yet to meet a guy who probably could not mop the floor with me in about 3 minutes.

 

I would have walked out on question 2. Prior to leaving I would have asked for all the same information from him and see how forthcoming he was. Was this not told to you prior to showing up? Even if I wanted to I never bring personal identification to a first-time meeting, you never know who might be going through your stuff when you go to the bathroom as happened to me once and I was a victim of theft, stupid on my part and never to occur again. Its never really been asked b4 just curious what do clients view as acceptable screening? Most won't take blocked phone calls that's pretty standard. I know you have too expect some type of screening.

When I contact an escort, it is usually from a hotel and it is usually by email. Escorts who say that they don't accept email and don't answer text messages and won't answer blocked numbers (which eliminates calling from a hotel phone) will not be contacted by me, unless I choose to ignore their restrictions. I sometimes do and about half of those times get a pretty quick reply to my email.

 

When an escort places all of those restrictions on being contacted, what they are saying is "I will only talk to you on your personal cell phone and only if you give me the number before I even answer the phone." Well, that may work for them but it doesn't work for me. I have often talked to an escort and then decided not to proceed further and there's no reason for that person to have my cell number. I've had a couple of occasions where an escort continued to contact me over and over again after we got together. So I'm chary with my cell number these days.

 

If escorts have restrictions on the type of client they want to see, that doesn't bother me at all. Just list those restrictions up front so I don't waste my time if I don't fall into your preferred group. As for screening me as a client, I will usually provide the following in my initial email:

 

* My first name

* An accurate description of what I look like

* What I'm looking for

* How long I want to get together for

* What hotel I'm in, along with address and hotel telephone number

* When I'd like to get together

 

That should provide an escort a good start. If they are interested and available, my preferred next step is to give them my hotel room number so they can call me. That lets them verify that I am in the hotel and room that I claim to be. On the phone, I'm willing to answer most general questions and few specific ones. If someone insists on a last name so he can "get by security", even in hotels where I know that security is not an issue, I tell them that I'll meet them in the lobby. If an escort seems too uptight or too concerned about little details, I'll generally say something like "It sounds to me like you are concerned about coming here and I always advise escorts to listen to their gut. If something doesn't feel right, then it probably isn't and you shouldn't do that. So if you have concerns about coming here, you should listen to your gut and we'll just chalk it up to one of those things."

 

Sometimes the escort will agree and sometimes they'll decide to come over. But life is too short to try to force something to happen when one or the other party is not comfortable from the get-go. Better to just go and read a book instead.

After re-thinking this situation in emails prior he had discussed about the cops doing stings.... Maybe that was his reason for all the screening? None the less I just can't take a chance of blackmail or him calling me if unwanted to say "do you wanna get together".

most high end females as well as high end female agency's ask for that info. I'm not sure about male agency's. Most people that do any type of screening have enough respect for their profession to never share any info with anyone. The biggest risk is the agency or the escort being raided and the vice or feds getting a hold of the info. 2 years ago one of my massage clients hired a female escort and he paid by credit card. She was raided and he was called with other clients to testify against her because they had her credit card records.

It all varies on what type of meeting is being expected. For overnights, I've had clients that I've never met want to send me a copy of their driver's license. I didn't ask for it, but I guess they realize it makes me feel more comfortable flying to meet someone for the first time.

 

I don't like the hourly screening process...there really isn't a whole lot you can do. On one hand, I don't want to discuss anything and rather get the person face to face as soon as possible to avoid entrapment, etc...and then on the other hand, I could be accused of not delivering what was expected because I didn't screen enough to make sure we were "compatible". So, it's a double edged sword either way you go.

 

The educated, serious client, I believe, will contact the escort already knowing what they want, that the escort can deliver what they want, and are calling to make an appointment. All risks aside, I think you should always proceed with such a method. I've never understood speaking on the phone for a while waiting for the other person to "trip up" in their conversation and reveal they're a cop...but if it makes some people more comfortable than they can use that as a screening tool.

Why would you hesitate to name him? I thought that is what this type of Forum is for. If this had happened to me--I would definitely post it here--so either someone else wouldn't waste his time like you did or so someone who was thinking of hiring him would at least go into the experience knowing what to expect.

Personal safety is #1 weather you are the escort or the client. So look out for yourself. Having said that, its a recession folks. So escorts all over the place are either having a hard time making ends meet, having to work harder to make the same amount they used to make or are plain flat broke. I am very creative and don't mind traveling so I fall into the having to work harder to make the same amount of money category. So my advice to clients is dont reveal any information that could be used for blackmail. Generally escorts do not want to hurt clients. But blackmail and stocking might be more reasonable of a concern. The biggest precaution I can give to clients is ask very clearly when booking the appointment "are your pictures current and accurate? Because if they are not then I will not follow thru with the session." and imediately when you first see them if they do not look like there pics then politely decline and leave, or give them cab fare if they are coming to you.
