Anyone familiar with review sites for gay escorts that focus on other countries or overseas (just as this one focuses mainly on the US)?

I think that gay escort reviews are, so far, mainly a North American phenomenon. In addition to Daddy's, we have Rentboy Reviews, Cruising For Escorts & Male Escort Review, focusing predominantly, though not entirely, on the North American market. In Canada, we have Canadian Male focusing mostly on Canadian escorts, like myself. In the UK, where I lived until recently, it is much rarer for reviews to be consulted or written. Gaydar, the main UK site, does not incorporate them. Two other UK sites, Absolute Male Escort & Sleepyboy, do have some reviews, but have a much smaller share of the market.

GayRomeo, which is the main European site for escorts, has reviews of escorts (though many are in German or French). Escorts can remove any posts they do not like though. However, GayRomeo is a very well-run company and will remove ads from escorts who have serious complaints upheld against them. Generally speaking, an escort with a decent number of positive reviews on this site can be trusted.

The reviews on the two British sites mentioned are so sparse that they are not worth using - they could well have been submitted by the escorts themselves in some cases.

There is a Forum devoted to Czech escorts, http://www.rentboysworld.com which started life as a place for people to review escorts in Prague but has rather moved on since and now has scant reference to individual escorts.

Further Observations on Review Sites

 

Gayromeo has a Guestbook feature which anyone can sign. Many of the comments do amount to short reviews. Escorts can remove comments or disable the feature altogether. M4RN advertisers are also allowed to delete 1-3 reviews per month depending on their membership plan. Hence, nearly every escort listed having a 4 star rating. Rentboy makes it quite difficult to connect their reviews directly with a particular advertiser. Daddy's & Cruising For Escorts reviews have integrity because they cannot be deleted by the escort, but they do allow the escort to respond. Canadian Male does not allow deletions or responses, but they do calculate an average review rating which partly determines an escort's placement in a general search.
