I don’t wish to publicize his name. I’ll explain. In preparation for a trip to Montreal I have been doing my “research”. In doing so I ran across the website of today’s “coverboy” (8/20/09) and discovered he was using Romann’s pictures. I immediately notified Romann and he took appropriate action. I note that those pictures are no longer on the site.

Thanks for posting this. I noticed immediately that the picture on today's cover bears no resemblance to the ones he uses in his ads, including the ones he posts occasionally on craigslist.

 

I once contacted him by phone in Montreal. He asked that I call back at 6 pm. When I did so, there was a lot of noise in the background and he hung up on me before the conversation could really get started.

There must be a fine art sometimes to revealing enough information in a review to really give us, the readers, a sense of what the guy is like vs going overboard on the review. When I read the review of this guy this morning, I thought to myself that it seemed a little over the top and thereby suspect. So I don't know if it's a real review or not, but coupled with fake pictures my inclination is to stay far away from this guy.

Thanks so much for letting me know about this guy using a number of my pictures on his site not to mention he was using another Dallas based escorts pictures whom I'm friends with and notified him. Both of us contacted him directly on his site and through email requesting that our pictures be removed. He did so pretty quickly but after more research, I found that he was also using my pictures on some other well known escorts sites and I finally involved the administrators who deactivated his account and removed the pictures.

You know what they say... Imitation is the Greatest form of flattery... Unfortunately using your pix is plagerism. One time a Client wrote to me all fumed up about my pix not being mine. I wrote back to inquire more. He sent me images of some photos that some guy was using and SELLING that were pix of me~ Okay~ So, I sent him an email from myself and my lawyer to stop the sales and use of my images immediately. this guy, (from one of the southern states), was using my images and making post cards out of them and trying to sell them as his own. OooooH Man~ You gotta be kidding? Okay... so, he stopped. I find my pix all over the web... all kinds of sites and without my permission or royalties or even much in the way of acknowledgemnt. There are Images I took of myself that really are a part of my future perhaps, (given that I am also a photographer with a goal and purpose...). I am not bitching really... It's flattering in one sense but when it takes away from my own general welfare, income and well being, (ie., it's okay to use my photos but say that they are me and pay me for the use of them... acknowledge me and my self as being the photographer and send some work my way... at least contact me and get permission~ Be a Buddy and let's make a deal kind of thing...). It's just good to ask and make arrangements that work out for both of you or if not... you can always just say no~

Moving off that point now... Oliver~ My Friend of Light and the guardian of his guardian Shadow... how yo doing Sexy? I think about you and always am Wishing you that green light and Love... I guess this off set saying hello thru the board does not convey much... at least not all that I think about you and want to say... all good things... just not the full Monty kind of thing... well... full Monty Heart.
