You might check all the cities in Michigan on the escort sites you use. Expressway travel to northern Michigan is pretty good, and you may find somebody who will drive up from Detroit or one of the other cities.

gp, thanks much. But fear it will be a dry week, unless something local turns up on CL last-minute. I have not had good luck with Detroit guys keeping a crosstown appointment, much less across the state.

Not much consolation but a good bit of Canada is closer to you than Detroit. I have been to Traverse City (and every where else, at one time or another) and in the summer time it should get cooling breezes off Lake Michigan. Otherwise, why are you there? That is not a shot or anything personal, but off the beaten track is off the beaten track.
