Escorts and Masseurs -- What's the Difference?

Hey, guys, I apologize if this is a stupid question, but I'm relatively new to hiring and I have to say that I'm not sure what the difference is between providers who call themselves masseurs and those who call themselves escorts.

 

Obviously, the massuers have massage skills (well, one hopes) and may even be certified, though that's true with many escorts, too. In my experience, almost all masseurs, except the ones whose ads say "legitimate massage only" in caps ten times, seem willing to provide an escort experience either in addition to a massage or instead of one. Sometimes their ads say "top only" or "safe only", which certainly isn't referring to Swedish-style massage.

 

Am I missing something or have I just been hiring horny or slutty masseurs? I'd really appreciate hearing what the distinction is in the minds of those of you on this forum, both escorts/masseurs and clients. Thanks very much.

My theory is that the ambiguity gives the masseur/escort the "legitimate" out to restrict services if there just is no chemistry with the client.

most masseurs that are really certified or certified as well as state licensed will not offer oral or anal sex as part of their services.. there's allot of masseurs that claim to be certified that are simply lying. Some will like previously mentioned will bend their rules based on attraction many will not. I had a very attractive 19 year old last Thursday. that age is very rare the normal clients over the age of 45. however this 19 got no special treatment and received the same massage with the standard hand release as my other clients. There are those clients who are insulted when a masseur try's for more. I hear their complaints a few a week.

that a very good point. that where allot of masseurs fail. they think if they have a nice body and the release is good then thats all it takes. that might be fine for those who are just the casual client or those looking too just get off. But repeats are based on how well you perform the therapeutic portion of the massage. clients will not come back for seconds if you cant do a real massage..

Thanks, Joseph. I guess that's my problem with these so-called masseurs.

 

For me, the reason to see a masseur is to get a good massage, and if something fun comes with it or after it, well, that's great, but getting a good massage is what matters. I will confess, though, that sometimes while I'm on the table I am torn between just enjoying a good massage and making things more sexual, but hey I can't be expected to turn my libido off while I'm lying on a table naked while being worked on by a hot guy. It's just not gonna happen.

 

What I don't understand is the psuedo-masseur experience that you allude to, where the client spends 20 or 30 minutes getting a bad rubdown and then gets 20 or 30 minutes of something sexual. If I want a sexual experience, I'll negotiate for a sexual experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire some of these guys as escorts. But if that's what the guy is really offering, why waste any time on a bad massage? It pisses me off to hire someone who crows about his massage skills and to be disappointed because his skills and his interests lie elsewhere.

I get massage as often as I can and always opt for someone that I think will provide release. I agree it can be frustrating to figure out what is/is not included. On the other hand there is a randomness that can be exciting. I think with an escort, it's pretty much a given that sex is the goal so the lines are clearer.

 

Unfortunately, many masseurs perform by rote and can't tailor a session to the flow of the moment, which is disappointing. Some try to make it into a watered-down escort session and I never return.

 

For me the perfect massage is deep muscled, some stretching, a little teasing thrown in throughout but nothing too sexual until time for release--definitely I want to feel relaxed and that I've actually gotten a massage. Sure, there've been times I've had full on sex with a masseur but it was AFTER the session, spontaneous, unexpected and mutual--and not compensated either, we both had fun.

 

To josephga's point about the 19yr old, it might be great to make a move on a hot young kid but maybe the kid doesn't want anything more. Certainly if there are no signs. It's very irksome to be getting a great back massage, down to the buttocks... everything's going great and feeling good... suddenly the masseur is trying stick his finger in my ass. Sure, who doesn't like a nice finger in the ass but DUDE, what about my legs, my chest, my front?! Seems like once the "line" has been crossed, the massage portion is OVER.

 

I think the hardest to guess are the guys who do both massage and escort. You would assume the massage will suffer yet two of my favorites do both and totally get the difference between massage (w/release) and full service (massage or not). No real way to know in advance though.

It's really the flow, as you say, that's important. For me, he best erotic masseurs are the ones who tease erotically during the massage, without impairing the quality of the massage at all. That includes playing on, over, with various body parts and cavities. I much prefer that to someone who's all about massage for the first 55 minutes and then switches into erotic/release mode for the last 5.

I usually get a massage twice a week, and I try to keep with my regular but I do like trying different guys as there are a variety of styles and well certain people have stronger techniques. Most of my sessions have been therapeutic, but I have tried some sensual and an erotic one. Unlike escorts, masseurs therapist are generally cheaper and you get more bang for you buck.

I'm pretty blunt with people to. I try to give them as much info as possible. I would rather lay it all out there with how the session goes down than have someone disappointed. I tell every one there's no oral or anal contact during our phone convo. that gives them the opportunity to pass on the session. If I feel the clients looking for more of a sexual experience than a massage I will pass on them. I charge 75.00 hr for a massage which is the average rate for the Atlanta area at that price I think people should expect certain limits.
