Did you use the Search function here, inputting "Buenos Aires"? I ask because there are quite a few recent threads to which I, among others, contributed.

 

My 'tally' is now 9 holidays in 5 years, so you can tell I like the place and do recommend you visit. I won't rewrite what I've noted before, but see my 'Observations' of March 2009 for some caution.

 

I always stay in Recoleta, and I choose this small chain of hotels which have good security and spacious rooms. (The name may seem misleading but they are hotels yet offer long stay rentals - as I normally stay for a month - and the rooms consist of a separate kitchen and bathroom, a seating & dining area, as well as a large bed) See their website: http://ayresapartments.com/
