"Bruised me"!

I wondered if others had a similar experience to the one I just had.

 

I was arranging to meet up with a guy that I'd hooked up with off CL a few months back. He contacted me to let me know he was in town. He said no kissing this time. He wasn't THAT hot so I said forget it, to which he replies:

 

"okay, kissing is fine. just be gentle with me, the stubble bruised me last time. "

 

Besides overlooking the obvious comma splice (jk), I was totally turned off by this. The guy is like 6'2, 185...suck it up princess! Seriously...

 

Anyone else get complaints like this? I have pretty thick beard, but usually guys are quite happy about that!

 

Just annoyed and venting I guess. I'm passing despite his big tool.

I had one very hot guy who became a friend asked about 10 minutes into the session for me to shave, stating he really liked kissing me, but my stubble was making a rash on his chin. I have to confess I did not inherit the "hairless" gene that is all too rampant and do have coarse hair and stubble. He was himself a great kisser and I happily obliged. His engagement with other things while I shaved drove me to distraction a bit, but in the end was well worth it and I had a great time. Funny, that later as I was rimming him he mentioned that perhaps he had spoken too soon and would have enjoyed the stubble a bit then. On a future appointment, he got his wish. Fun was had by all.

Hey, it's all negotiations if you're hooking up - he had everyright to ask if it bothered him, as you had every right to be turned off by his saying so. Now if you were paying him, he should deal with it.

 

I do know what he means though, because I get irritated for hours after the fact if I make out with someone with a particularly coarse beard.

And ya - it is all about negotiations. I don't think he does escorts much and is getting a kick out of it. I don't demand that every guy I'm with (hired or not) kiss, but it just struck a nerve with me. And TOTALLY turned me off, mostly in the way he asked. I think if my experience had been more like Racketjock, I wouldn't have minded in the least!

If someone's hooking up, they shouldn't have to settle for anything below what they want.

 

Otherwise, I've had situations where guys hurt me while kissing. All depends on who's kissing and their style. Not saying I didn't enjoy it, but it is a reality that some people's hair will damage another person's skin at times. It's been pretty rare, though. One person I'm thinking of in particular shaved very well each time we got together after our first time...great communication, though.

I really hate the fact that stubble has become fashionable. To me it looks dirty. But Movie stars and models think it will make them seem more mature and serious as stars. Joey Lawrence recently did a movie for TV, in which he wore stubble and shaved his head. Not a pretty picture.

I have a course mustache that I have had since late teens, 35 years. It is wirey.
