Is it possible to appeal to the escort's sense of decency and request that he reimburse you for your lost ticket expenses then have him rebook the flight to you at his expense? Ocean, the ticket you bought was pretty cheap. There are several classes of tickets depending on the airline. They have tickets that are completely refundable, but they usually start in the $300 range.

 

I had this happen to me once with a will known, adored, reliable escort, and I never for a second thought they he would be a no-show. Your escort at least called you, mine left me in the airport terminal. DO NOT post a name here because everyone will chastise you and come up with every excuse to say it was your fault, and then when you try to explain, Daddy will remove this post and say it was a review.

 

If you 100% want to see an escort, and DON'T want to gamble your money on someone who may be a no show, purchase a refundable ticket. After the second try, it usually pays for itself, plus you loose no money if they don't show, since the money was refunded, you can purchase another ticket for another destination and name. After the escort becomes reliable, you can then purchase the cheap non-refundable tickets.

Ocean... as you know, I have done more than my share of overnites and I have had a lot of things go wrong... mostly, missed planes and delayed flights due to weather and two very memorable stomach viruses... (one his and one mine...)... but I can't seem to recall (but that may be due to all the Xanax I've been swallowing).. any escort ever fucking up his own schedule. Now, I have had to send flight info again and again but no one has ever cancelled on me due to their own inability to keep a calendar or due to a better offer.

 

Thinking about it... I have only lost tickets on David Kristian/NYC (broken arm), Brock Hart (broken leg), Mark/Central ILL (missed plane), Christopher/NYC (boyfriend drama, his), and just this week, Devon Roff/N FLA (bad luck, but really disappointed about that one).... but the way I look at it... I admittedly was a weinie here. After being strung along with both repayment and rescheduling, it was more my my wounded pride for being such a dupe for it all that kept me from coming forward. Added to that my lack of a desire to stir this well known pot for the likely discourse it would cause, zipped my lips. Being a steady lurker and not an active member, wouldn't give my view valid credibility. So, the lesson learned was mine. The first overnight was fantastic, the second not as good, the third was a disaster (he had too much to drink); he gave vague excuse too cancel but I insisted he come. Since then, he's been full of reasons for his behavior and apologies but every time a "making it right" visit is discussed, he offers to provide a "free" makeup night but always with a second "paid" night. I mentioned repayment, but he just chose to ignore it. I was out (twice rescheduled) airfare, two hotel nights, meals, liquor, etc. and $2.5K and ended up just being his babysitter and shoulder to cry on. I feel certain he needs the money, so I've been reluctant to post his name and description of this horrible experience. I dumped this "case" on Daddy, who helped me not post anything in haste (thanks!). But some months afterward, I really wonder what the best course of action (beyond doing nothing to date) that I should take ... or not. What do you say guys! I need some experienced advice. Thanks!

This is one of the reasons that I warn people not to send any money in advance of a long-term booking like this. Also, don't even buy the ticket unless you know (i.e. have had sex with), and trust him, as best you can with an escort. The fact that you have purchased a plane ticket is more than enough evidence of the client's serious intent. For the most part I've been OK with this arrangement, although I once had an escort ask for more money at the last minute (I considered the air ticket a loss and hired escorts once I got to my destination).
