Posting Icons

How do I place an icon or a smiley within the body of the message? When I click on one of the icons, it doesn't show up where I had my cursor, instead it shows up next to the Title box. What am I doing wrong?

your setting need to be changed to see the full posting features

1. top left hand side of this page is a tab "user cp"

2. (under settings options) click "edit options"

3. scroll all the way down to Miscellaneous Options

the rest is explained in the directions above the scroll down in the block
