yea, It's weird, Sebastian got some great reviews here, but I tried him before and I also found him with no experiences in the massage area and he just keep asking me what I want the whole time, he just want to cut the massage short and get me off.

Are you guys talking about the Puertorican/Greek guy with olive skin, in Queens at Kew Gardens not very far from JFK, who doesn't have a review here and whose ads I can't find anymore on masseurfinder and/or massagem4m?....

Yeah, been to Sebastian a while back. Nothing amazing about the 5 minutes of massage--the rest of the time just wanted have sex. Used oil that permanently stained my sheets. Was really surprised about the positive reviews here...

Sadly I am not into the whole certification thing myself. I find it just another form of government control, money that goes into the federal fund, and just a waste of time? Like mostly licesence and certs you can easily get photoshop and make your own? Plus the other problem is that there are no standards for this? And should there be? I know it probably another topic, but since it was mentioned earlier....

 

I have meet many people who are not certified or non-licensed that have given great massages, and there were a few "licensed" people who had less than average bedside manners. It is important that we flag bad people, but to say non-cert/licensed are bad.... is not always a good thing. Another good example.... my professional mechanic with all the certs and stuff used to rip me off. However in my neck of the wood there is a former mechanic older guy that his great with cars ..... I trust him over the cert mechanic any day.

Another masseur to avoid in NY is Paulo on 8th Avenue (at 51st street).

I wouldn't call that a review, just an opinion of someone you wouldn't necessarily go to again. That's just me.

I had very good experiences with Abe (studlyranger). I think he's retired from the business though. We'll see for how long.

 

I totally agree with you on that, I learned my lesson from some horrible massage.

 

I got to add one more to the list, I totally forgot about this guy, one of my worst experiences ever.

He talks the whole time about how good looking he is while he complain about doing this job he hates, and pick up the phone while he massages u, and telling u how he is doing u the favor while turn down another client who he saying would pay more cause that client is fat. The massage itself is so so, but the whole experiences is just so bad, I was too timid at the time to walk out seems that's second time I hired a masseur. Also he was making fun of my body also while he was massaging, he will point out places that he thinks is "gross". I still gets mad just thinking about it, I forgot to put him on the list probably because I block it out of my head. Sorry about the ranting.
