Since I have over 700 messages in my mailbox, do I get to keep them? It says 50 is the limit.

I looked for a setting for this and couldn't find it. That doesn't mean it isn't there, it just means it isn't found under "Private Message Settings" in the admin control panel. It's probably named something weird and stored somewhere you wouldn't ordinarily think to look.

 

Meanwhile, you can leave those 700 messages right where they are but you won't be able to receive any new ones.

'cause it's a user group parameter which has mysteriously changed from 50 to 1000....

Yup, there it is. And I just applied the change to admins and moderators too. We were still set at 50.
