The Boardwalk stripper bar in Fort Lauderdale continues its very successful and popular business. The bar looks better than ever with its structural renovations - open, fairly light, visually interesting, all integrated, lots of action in many areas. The sound level is always kept reasonable and never painful, the choice of music avoiding pounding rap. From at least 8:30 last night until closing at 3:00 a.m. there were always four dancers performing, two on stages and two on platforms in the middle of the room, with no breaks or periods of music only. They seem to take this responsibility seriously, and at the height (after 10:00 p.m.), they generally rotate after two songs. So you can watch lots and lots of dancers close up and chat with them even while they are performing. Good sized crowd but not packed solid.

Last night there were 40 dancers, ranging from cute smooth twinks to very solid muscle boys and men. Almost all wore low-rise white briefs with colored waistband, altho a couple wore black jockstraps. Dancers pay $25 to the house to be able to dance, so they are eager to earn money to do more than break even. Every dancer walked around regularly last night, so it was possible to connect with anyone in whom you were interested, and all were eager to provide whatever services a customer desired in order to earn tips. Tips are $1 around the bar (the more you tip, the more you get), and $20-$30 for a lap dance in the now quite private side room.

The whole atmosphere is friendly and pleasant; I was not pestered by anyone last night, and I spoke with and played with many dancers. There were many new dancers, and the majority of dancers were Hispanic. No cover charge and 2-4-1 drinks before 9:00 p.m. A $5 cover charge after that. There are many places to stand or sit all around the large space and two separate bars to serve you. All bartenders are cute and in briefs also. The crowd had lots of late 20s to late 30s guys, many very good looking. Pablo, a dancer of a couple of years ago and more handsome than ever, was there as a customer, as were a couple of other former dancers. Lots of free safe parking.

Among the 40 dancers were:

Romain - a beautiful new young twink from Brazil, slender, smooth, sweet, and cuddly; bouncy and dancing all night.

Antony - very cute and cuddly new twink from Colombia, dazzling smile and beautiful teeth, smooth soft skin, delicious bubble butt, and well endowed.

William - handsome, cute, short twink, but very solid, enjoyed showing off his biceps and thighs, which were worth feeling and appreciating, great abs, very sweet and cuddly; he would stay with you a long time.

Brady - cute blond twink from Wisconsin, intelligent, articulate, smooth, firm bubble butt, nicely endowed.

Alexi - cute as ever, pure twink, slender but not at all skinny, smooth, sweet kisser, fun, good private dance.

Celio - new dancer from Brazil, basically a twink but in his mid 20s, cute, very cuddly, offers much, knows how to please a customer who is interested.

Denis - looks like the all-American boy who is probably on the football team, but is Italian, friendly, very white smooth skin, nicely developed, available

Santiago - a new charmer from Venezuela, swimmer's build but nicely muscled, taut, brown skinned, handsome face, danced on bar, firm in all places, nice to pet

Marco - has been there a while but beautiful body and smile, friendly and eager, knows how to please

Hector - cute, small, Black bundle of energy, radiant smile, great laugh, smooth taut young body

Sean - handsome tall Black dancer, beautiful skin and beautifully proportioned, nice to talk with

Jamie - local American boy, smooth but firm, eager to please

Danny - solid, muscular, smallish Hispanic dancer

Vince - Italian/American dancer, former gymnast, very solid but muscled, part-time bartender, can be very cuddly and offering

Many other dancers also. You always meet interesting guys at the bar, and everybody has a good time all night. "Miss Justice Royal" performed now and then, but basically it is non-stop dancing by lots of good looking guys eager to show off their assets. Highly recommended for a very enjoyable evening.

Hoover,

As soon as were done inspecting your new pants in MTL we can make plans for the warmer climate.

I think you should start a thread asking "what kind of shorts to wear at Fla. strip clubs" so that we can buy the proper gear for the next trip.

10 days till Stock !!

It's true that at Cupid's they take it all off and perform gymnastic gyrations around a pole that could qualify for the Olympics. They can get away with this because Cupid's is located in unincorporated West Palm.

But be forewarned. A VIP room could end up costing you the price of hiring a good escort. You first pay the house a sizable fee. I'm not sure how much. Then you negotiate with the dancer for what you want. The admission is also higher, especially for guest strippers.

So check it out if you want, and then come down here to the Boardwalk! As already stated, drinks are 2/1 before 9:00 PM with no admission fee. Drinks are not cheap. They tend to run $2 higher than the Alibi, ground zero for gay life here. For example, a glass of Merlot is $7 at the Boardwalk, mixed drinks start at $8, and a bottle of Voss water is $6. So definitely get the 2/1. You can always use a token for a second drink any other night before 9:00 PM.

As for the sound level, I think that's an individual thing. A lot of the music is pretty good, especially the Latin music. However, it can get very loud, especially when the divas sing. I have to wear earplugs. I don't at the Alibi. Decide for yourself. The management did a good job renovating the place. The plasma and conventional TVs surrounding the entire place help the mood along with hot scenes. The side room described no longer has the DJ in it as the old private room did. You can get a massage or a lap dance.

Cooper:

As Tristan notes above, the dj has been moved and is no longer an integral part of the room. And the seating has been changed, allowing for more creativity. You can certainly have a good time with an agreeable dancer.

Zipper:

Memory. No, I don't use a steno pad or notes. If I watch the 10:00 news tonight, and stay awake for the sports portion, I will hear of dozens of professional and college teams in many sports. If, two minutes later, you asked me who played today and who won, I would be unable to tell you a single winner or score or detail or even who played. I'm just not interested. And yet the village idiot in my village, along with tens of millions of people across the U.S. and Canada, will be able to repeat to you the names of all the teams that played and who they played in every sport and who won and what the score was and who the player was who scored the winning TD or hit the home runs or the number of points in basketball for every player, etc. etc. It is truly astonishing. And they hear it just once, very quickly, and then the announcer moves on to the next team. Their memory amazes me. They must memorize two hundred times as much as I do at a night at a stripper bar. But I like naked twinks, and so I remember their names so I can talk to them, perhaps have a lap dance with them, perhaps take them home, perhaps see them again. I think it's no big trick, just a matter of wanting to. At least one man's opinion.

Does anyone have any hotel suggestions that are close to The Boardwalk. By close I was hoping for walking distance.

Thanks

I've never seen a decent hotel within walking distance... and you don't want to be in South FL without a car unless you're in SoBe.

Members seem to be asking this all the time. As LustinGuy indicated, there are none in walking distance. Most of the hotels and guest houses are in a different area. You should rent a car or take taxis. The good news is that Ft. Lauderdale is very compact. Most places of interest are within a 5-10 minute drive. The Boardwalk has good parking and is well lit.
