Saturday Night at Splash Bar

If you're looking for some strippers in NYC on Saturday night, the "Man-on-Man" show continues at Splash bar. Every Saturday night the show starts at 8pm (however 8/12 show started at 8:25) and ends at 10pm. The bartenders and barwaiters work in just their white-n-tight undies and, as always, you'll find the friendliest and best looking bartenders working there.

 

As for the show, it's not the costume type performances of the past. Most of the dancers will look familiar and are on the more muscular side. The dancers perform to 2 songs. The first takes place on the front stage where they enter fully clothed and remove some clothing. For their second number, they enter on the back stage just wearing a revealing thong. Most of these guys are well hung. The lineup includes 10 dancers and lap dances take place downstairs in a semi-private area. The cost, $20 per song.

 

After the "Man-on-Man" show, the tables and stools are removed and dancing takes places. Also, club dancers will be dancing on the bar... Every night there's something else going on at Splash Bar.

 

Splash Bar (SBNY) is located at 50W 17th St. between 5th and 6th Avenues. Cover for Saturday night was $5.00 for men and $40.00 for women.

Sept 30th, Man-On-Man Show.

 

Don't know what's going on with this show, but only 7 dancers were in the lineup, usually they have 10, and few showed up for the 2nd shift after 11pm.

 

The lineup included some familar faces from the 20 Club, but few dance any longer in costume. Most came out on stage in t-shirts and jeans.

 

The lineup included:

4. Chris (Sinful from the 20 Club)

5. Francisco

6. Matrix

7. Johnny Cage

 

During and following the show lap dances take place in the lower level bar area. It has a curtain for semi-privacy, however, many patrons sick their heads in to see the action... Cost for lap dance is $20 a song.

 

Saturday night several Hoovillians were in attendance, Pelican, Taz, VDN, and Jaynnj. All seemed to be enjoying themselves and pounding the flesh with many dancers. Downstairs bartender Victor was at his best and took real good care of birthday boy VDN. Victor has an interesting way of stirring drinks and dominating his customers.

 

The night ended for me at Boysroom, located in the lower East Side. It's a fun place if you're college age or youthful looking, but for the Gaiety/20 Club patrons you'll feel out-of-place. The bar was packed and has no stools for sitting. Around 1pm they have an amateur stripping contest. Cover is $10 and open bar till midnight.
