There certainly were a lot of dancers working at the 20 Club this past Sunday. The lineup had 18 dancers and 2 barwaiters all available for lap dances and VIP encounters.

For those who regularly attend the Club, most of these names will sound familiar:

Sean from Australia

Brad, NYC

Gio, NYC

Arod

Victor

Sinful/Satisfaction from Man on Man at Splash

Nello

Alex

Nomi

Dennis making his debut

Lex, buffboyzz

Dex, buffboyzz

Dillon

Tim, massure guy

At 9pm a special show called the "Male Review" took place. It was hosted by Mark Anthony (aka Tristan Lane). This show is usually performed for woman, but seemed to work nicely for men.

This lineup included:

Ace

Apollo

Steve Savage

Tristan Lane

Mark A. tried very hard to get audience members to participate in the stage show, and, with a lot of encouragement, he found a couple of "willing" participants. All were good sports about it.

Bar waiters David and Dimitri were busy both serving drinks and earning some extra money doing lap dances.

It was a very active and enjoyable night.

In compliance with the new nightlife codes from the New York Police Department, all dancers wore burkas while on stage. Instead of slits for the eyes, there was one at the crotch. Alcohol was not served, but a special Jamestown Kool-Aid was available. Dancers washed in holy water provided by the friendly friars of the local Abbey and confession was available from an attending priest who set up right outside of the room formerly known as the Champagne Room. On leaving, everyone got a free I Love New York t-shirt courtesy of Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Sounds so good, I think I will attend the next one! :)

Lucky, Thanks for that exclusive update. Btw, you forgot to mention that all weapons had to be checked at the door for a fee of $3.00 per item. The Hoovillians in attendance had to cough up over $300.00 alone on that fee. Seriously. :-)

As for next Sunday's show, 2 Montreal dancers are scheduled to attend, Fred and Alex of Stock. I believe Taz is providing Fred with the chainsaw. Don't know if that's for a magic show or an Earth Day project. More news to follow....

>That's not a problem. I'll just shower before I get there!:)

Oh goody, that means you are a prime candidate for the "hot seat" at next week's Club 20 stage show with Mark Anthony.. :)

enjoy

Rendie

PS: don't forget to bring your burka if you are the shy type.

PPS: on second thought, a helmet would be safer while on stage. }(

RE: New York's 20 Club: April 30th

I wish I had better news to share with you regarding tomorrow's lineup at the 20 Club, but it looks like the only possibility of a new face would be Fred's, this year's Mr. Stock, (he danced once before at the Club)... I spoke with Jay, who's in charge of hiring, he told me it's been very difficult finding new dancers and he's not having any luck in getting commitments... You would think that in NY, where there are over 300 escorts advertising on Rentboy that some would be interested in working at the Club.... Jay realizes that if the Club wants to keep it's regular customers coming back week after week, new dancers are the answer.

As for Alex of Stock dancing this Sunday, Jay would only say that Fred "might" be bringing a friend with him. Perhaps now would be a good time for Jay to contact some Stock dancers to see if they'd like to work in NY. Helping out these dancers and offering them travel expenses would be a good incentive.
