TABOO and Montreal

Another Golden Age for Taboo! Stripper bars go through cycles, sometimes great, and sometimes not so great. Last week was one of Taboo's greatest weeks.

On Wednesday night, there were 15 dancers and 24 customers. You could chat with your favorite dancer, anyone, and not be rushed, and then enjoy a delightful lap dance in back without being rushed. On Friday there were 22 dancers and on Saturday there were about 20. No hip-hop or rap music, and some dancers chose very lyrical romantic music (Cedric deserves special recognition), and a sound volume that was not excessive; you could always talk. The back room was always crowded, and if you did not have a very enjoyable satisfying time there, there was something wrong with you. Francis barely came out of the back room all night on Friday. And there were no patrons who occupied a single dancer for most of the evening. There was regular turn overs, and you could enjoy every dancer who appealed to you. He is responsible for the special Sunday evening performances, where pairs of dancers create special duos and wear costumes and put on special shows. Eden sometimes appears in drag as La Divina. He's cute, petite, smooth, and loves to strut. Seven months ago, he spoke no English. He decided he wanted to learn. He's amazing. He told me he follows this advice: talk as much as you can, and if you make mistakes, no big deal. If you don't talk, and don't make mistakes, you will never learn. Francesco is a very handsome and cute young Black dancer with a beautiful, firm, ripe body. No skinny kid here at all, but a young man who enjoys dancing nude and is very acrobatic. His face is beautiful and his body is perfectly propotioned and very smooth.

Manuel is a tall young man with a slender waist, very smooth skin, thick but not long black hair, and a winning smile. He is on the slender side, but not skinny.

Arnaldo is a beautiful, olive-skinned boy with curly short black hair and a beautiful body. His face expression is often without expression. But when he turns on a smile, or cracks a grin as he shows off his body to the audience, he dazzles.

Diego is one of the dancers from Brazil, with a physique that is nearly ideal. He has an incredible sense of rhythm and dances with delight to Latin music. His lap dances keep getting better and better.

Sam has been around for awhile but he is still very cute, very smooth, and very popular. His personality seems warmer and more open than in the past, and he certainly knows how to stage-dance and lap-dance.

Samuel was a new dancer for me, with a thin line of beard along the side of his jaw, a smile that lights up the whole room, and a muscular young body. He is soo smooth and luscious, you just want to reach out and stroke him.

Dano is a very handsome young Portuguese/Canadian young man. He is perfectly trilingual in French, English, and Portuguese, and he has a beautiful body, well muscled, smooth, sexy. He is one of the best performers with the bar now, and his arm strength is amazing. He is also very good in the back room.

Cedric was so dazzling, it was amazing. I had heard his name, but never seen him. He came on stage and did his first fast number, taking off his shirt and smiling, and moving well with the music. When he finished, the whole bar gasped and then broke into applause. He is very special.

Antoine gets better and better. I first met him several years ago, when he was a skinny young kid. He studies the martial arts and works out and today he has one of the most beautiful and muscular bodies at Taboo. [h1] Adonis [/h1] from 3:00-9:00 p.m. offered a wonderful array of 12 young, cute, smooth dancers in a great atmosphere, nicely decorated for the holidays. There weren't a lot of customers, so you could sit right by the stage and chat and pet dancers you liked. I would recommend them very highly now. Among the dancers on Saturday afternoon were:

 

Eric formerly of Stock, in his 20s, with a gorgeous, taut, muscular, smooth body. He gives a wonderful performance on stage; he is well hung; and he is very good in back also. Great guy to talk with.

William is the dazzling young blond from Italy who puts on perhaps the most unusual, but erotic and beautiful dance show of any guy. The best hotel in terms of location is without doubt, Hotel des Gouverneurs, right on Rue Ste. Catherine at the beginning of the gay village. It is very nice, ideally situated, on top of a mall and a number of places to eat, and the metro. The rooms are quite nice, and there is no problem with visitors. But it is fairly expensive.

 

A number of us who visit Montreal frequently, regularly use Priceline.com, and almost always we can get a good 4* hotel for $55. I have used three of them. Holiday Inn Select is across from the Convention Center, right across the street (to the left) is the subway/metro, and right across the street (to the right) is the entrance to the underground city. So you can put your coat in a locker, and walk all day long and shop hundreds of stores, see lots of restaurants, go to the symphony hall or museum of contemporary art. It is all connected, dry, warm, and safe. The room and bath were larger than the Gouverneurs, and the price usually is $230. the Hyatt Regency is on top of the Complex Desjardin (large indoor mall part of the underground city). You can walk directly to the subway underground and never have to go outdoors. It is a good hotel, with lots of restaurants and shops around. Novotel is just off of Ste. Catherine but on the West Side in a vibrant part of downtown, where you will really enjoy the life of the city.

 

From all three of these hotels, you can easily take the subway/metro to Berri-Uqam station to visit Campus, or to Papineau station to go to Taboo, which is right across the street, or to go to Adonis, which is one block away on a very well lighted street.
