Friday night at Boardwalk in Fort Lauderdale was great! The place was packed with a large crowd, and there were nearly 40 dancers. The crowd never let up, from early to late; as some customers left, others came in, and there was never a slow down. Many of the regular dancers were there, but also international dancers and newbies; it was great fun. Everyone seemed in a good mood; the music level was loud but not overbearing so you could carry on a conversation. Customers ranged from early 20s to over 60, but most were in the late 20s to early 50s; the crowd seems to be getting younger. The young twink dancers who like older gents headed for them right away, assured of cuddling and good tips, and the other dancers had plenty of eager customers as well.

 

Among the dancers were:

Sammy, former bartender, waiter, and dancer from Taboo in Montreal. He looks better than ever with a nice smooth muscular body; he's got great charm; and he knows how to satisfy customers. We chatted about Montreal and his travels.

Taylor is a former dancer from Remington's and the Gaiety. He also has an ad in rentboys, as do a number of the other dancers. So if you like what you see, you can easily arrange a private. Taylor is very handsome with a beautifully defined body, very well hung, and with a gorgeous bubble butt. He also is a great conversationalist and eager to please his customers.

Gio was a new twink on his first night dancing. He was delightful, cute as can be, 21 yo, eager to please, and with a perfect body, not skinny at all, but well proportioned. Smooth skin, long legs, round butt, and great smile.

Julio is back, no longer with Daddy, and available for all of us again. He is one of the cutest and sexiest Latino dancers at the bar, with a gorgeous, voluptuous body and a very friendly smile. He is very popular in the back room.

Bruno was dancing again; he looks like Jonathan's slightly older brother - same brush cut hair style, firm jaw, drop dead beautiful body, slender waist, smooooth, very rounded butt, a smile that lights up the whole room, and fun to talk with.

Giovanni is a young, tall, slender dancer with swimmer's physique, smooth, friendly, interactive.

Gian Carlo is from Peru, with light brown hair, a very nice firm body with light peach fuzz; very pleasant young man.

Angel is one of the cutest twinks dancing at Boardwalk; he is thin, but ultra smooth, cuddly, friendly, and very sweet.

Fabio is a very handsome, beautifully built and proportioned and somewhat muscled dancer; he was wearing a brief loin-cloth a la Tarzan which showed off his assets very well. Very nice.

There were so many dancers that as the night went on, to give them all a chance to dance, they worked for only one or two songs and then another dancer hopped on stage. There was no rap or hip-hop music; it was pleasant to listen to.

 

If you are interested in a vacation with sun and warmth, boys and sex, Fort Lauderdale is the place to visit. I do not intend to make light of Hurricane Wilma; it did considerable damage and some people are still without power. But in general, the city is back to normal and tourists would not realize there had been any problems. Almost every restaurant and store is again fully operational, so you can enjoy Thai, French, Greek, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Indian, Mexican, Guatemalan, Persian cuisine every night. You can shop at all the fine shops in the Galleria and other malls, except for Macy's. All of the gay restaurants, dance clubs, and bars are open as usual. All the restaurants and art galleries and shops along Las Olas Boulevard are open as usual. But certainly check with hotels and guest houses to make sure they are fully operational, because not everyone has power yet.

 

Fort Lauderdale and Miami, which are all one large cosmopolitan area, has one of the largest selections of escorts of any city in the world. Any escort living in one city also serves the other. Currently there are about 300 ads between rentboys and men4rentnow. If you like muscular guys, older guys, print models, porn stars, and bears, you can find many on the websites. If you prefer twinks, natural and swimmer physiques, you can see them at Johnny's Bar and Boardwalk and then make arrangements, as well as some ads. Every dancer I spoke with on Friday was happy to provide privates. An escort a day keeps you happy and healthy, IMO. Especially when you are on vacation.

 

There are gay bars which cater to every taste: Eagle, Jackhammer, and Ramrod serve the leather and bear crowd; Colisseum and Copacabana are large dance halls; Johnny's and Boardwalk serve as magnets for twinks, etc.

 

And if you want some culture while in town, the city is all set to go. Next Fri, Sat, and Sun there will be performances of the Miami City Ballet, which is excellent, in Fort Lauderdale at the Broward Center for the Arts. In addition, on Saturday evening, the first in a series of free Chopin concerts will be given by world famous musicians in the theater at the Main Public Libary. Shortly thereafter the opera season begins with "Girl of the Golden West." And then there is almost a constant stream of orchestras, Broadway shows, individual musicians, and dance companies, not to mention the mention popular music groups playing here continuously. The beach is perfect from Las Olas Boulevard in the south up to 14th Street; all the sand has been put back, smoothed, and leveled. This is the stretch where all tourists go and includes Saint Sebastian, the gay beach. Most of the palm trees along the beach look the same as ever; they seem to be some of the hardiest in town. You would never know there has been a severe storm recently. Gay restaurant Tropics, among many gay restaurants, is doing big business, and they are very good. Tuesday night is 2 for 1, so come with a friend and enjoy an incredible bargain. Tropics attracts large crowds of gay men of all ages, and you can meet new friends every night and have a great time. If you are alone, this is also a great place, because the two large bar areas provide a good place to have a drink and meet new people. In case you are interested, the bar is known for being a good place for older men and younger men to meet and get together. Their piano players are always fun, and the atmosphere is always bright and light. Their outdoor patio is very good for lunch.

The Fisher Twins are the guests for the four nights of the Thanksgiving weekend.

 

The Boardwalk is very much back to normal and still offers the best variety and largest number of dancers in Ft. Lauderdale.

 

Friday and Saturday night have been very busy. I went there on a recent Sunday night, and there weren't many dancers or customers. There's a random factor in which dancers show up and how many customers there are. You never know. Some nights are just better than others.
