Punto G is located on Anchorena 1347, phone:4829-0664, you can call and find out the times they are open, but i'm pretty sure the shows start later on, another good place to go is Restaurant-Bar Inside on Bme. Mitre 1572 phone:4372-5439, they open at 6pm and have have shows a little earlier then Mix or Punto G.

hi, i am a new member and just saw your question about clubs in buenos aires. i just spent a week there at the end of january. one problem there right now is- after the fire that occured in a disco there in january, the police have closed most discos and bars which have dance floors for at least a month. only the smaller bars and clubs are open. one nice small bar which opens early also has strip shows, but usually at 1am ( sorry - take a nap) is the titanic club- in a basement at Av. Callao 1156 near Santa Fe. Contramano around the corner at Rodriguez Pena is still open, but the dance area is boarded up - sometimes shows and lots of rentboys hanging around. Another nice gay restaurant which also has shows at midnight- drag and sometimes strippers is Chueca at Soler 3283 - run by a hilarious drag queen named "Barbie". food is great too. good luck.

The clubs should be reopening soon, according to the Argentine papers. They've been required to submit up-to-date documentation (licenses, permits, tax receipts, etc.) to the city government before they can be inspected. The deadline was yesterday, and most of the clubs got their paperwork in, so inspections will be starting immediately and clubs should be re-opening shortly afterwards. The city understands that its nightlife is one of the key attractions for visitors, so they can't afford to keep everything shut down. Hopefully, a night out in B.A. will be much safer after this!

Nightlife is going to be late, no matter what. That's what B.A. is famous for (the city that doesn't sleep). If you're not a nightbird, B.A. isn't your town for enjoying clubs.

Córdoba is the second-largest city. Older than B.A., as I recall, with a colonial core and the oldest (and one of the most prestigious) universities. There are some bars and clubs. Be sure to buy NX or Imperio magazines at a newstand in B.A. and look for addresses of venues in the pullout directory and classified sections. If there are any escorts, you'll probably find them in the classifieds of the local paper, under "Masajes," "Encuentros," "Acompañantes," "Otros," etc.
