Gaiety Lineup Without Pictures - MY FINAL THOUGHTS

So many people brought up some great, valid points on this topic. THANK YOU ALL! I think Mercury40’s point about the thread being separate so people can get through the text easily if they don’t care for the visuals is, most certainly, a wonderful suggestion. Foxy also brings up a crucial point about privacy and not being “surprised” when a random naked man pops up in the thread. The privacy issue he eludes to is also important. Others noted load up time for dial-up users and others discussed the unique attributes of the WebTV service and all that is related to that (mainly, sometime the pics come through and sometimes they don’t).

 

Because this forum and message center is a place for enjoyment I am not going to request a vote on this issue. This forum is about escorts, strippers and the men who love them … NOT a forum about Cherophobia. So, let’s keep things light and moving. I will post the Lineup Pics in a weekly “GAIETY LINEUP PHOTO ALBUM” in a separate thread. However, I have one request. There have been times where pictures have sparked discussions and info sharing. PLEASE continue to do this even though the pics will now be separated from the lineup discourse.

 

And, as always, please continue to share pics either by posting them on your own or sending them to me to post. When you send me pics please let me know if you want your “thank you” anonymously or for me to mention you by message center name. If you don’t request either then I won’t mention you as a source at all. Again, we all benefit from pic donations.

 

In closing, I am human. For the most part I am the flying nun. When I do fall from aerial grace from time to time my heart, brain and soul rumble. For the most part, I have always been polite and cordial on the message center. Over the past few days I have made some posts with a terse, surly tone. I am sorry. From time to time some of us have made posts we weren’t proud of or posts we made as a knee jerk reaction. So, if I upset anyone with anything I said I sincerely apologize.

 

As the saying goes, “old wine in new glasses”. Though the pics won’t be in the lineup thread they will now have their own thread. People now have a choice to view or not to view. Choice is good. And just a suggestion to our moderator: Since the new pic thread should get a good amount of hits but maybe not a lot of replies should the thread, along with the lineup text thread, be pinned on Monday and unpinned Sunday night or Monday morning? This would prevent the thread from going lower on the forum thread list. Again, just a humble suggestion.

 

Let’s all continue to have fun and respect one another. I, for one, will try my hardest to follow my own advice. Again, I say to you all, sorry and thank you. Now, let’s press the “move forward” button. Thank you to Cooper and Foxy for their in-depth descriptions and reviews (and for the irreplaceable time they give weekly), thank you to likembig for getting the lineup posted ASAP and to EVERYONE who contributes their reviews, experiences, etc.

Now I was thinking maybe we could have a voice over to read the reviews out loud for those whose vision is going. A verbal discription of the pictures would be nice too.

Speaking of LOST on ABC, next Wed they are going back to finishing the original episodes so you can catch up on the show before new episodes. This Wednesday is when Sayid meets, and gets a little torture, by the crazy French lady!

Well,

It seems the decision has been made and I have always appreciated the efforts of others to improve what is already a great product.

Having said that, I will still express my preference for having the word descriptions and the pics in the same thread as it is just easier for me to quickly scroll back to compare one with the other. but I am apparently in the minority.

Sooooo.....Rock on VDN, Cooper, foxy, and all the great men of the G and the strip club forum.
