Gaiety Lineup without pictures

While I appreciate VDN's efforts in posting all those photos I think they are taking up too much space and would prefer to just be able to read the reviews. Couldn't we have two separate posts, one with just the reviews and another that has all the pictures for those who have lots of time on their hands?

IMHO..Most of us are more than willing to "FIND THE TIME" to enjoy VDN'S Great Photo's.Since he "FINDS THE TIME" to pass them along.. Also matching up the guys with names, that go with the Posts..Otherwise we can just CALL the "G" for instance in NYC and find out who is in Lineup...Alot of Muscle, Big Dick sure doesn't tell me very much! :+ :+ :+

M4M is extremely fortunate to have members who are willing each week to post lineups, reviews, descriptions, comments, advice, rumors, and pictures. These people have turned this forum into the #1 place for obtaining the latest information on the G.

 

It's the combined efforts of these dedicated members that makes it all work. Simply put, it's a team effort... Lineups without pictures or pictures without lineups means very little. IMO, I'd like to see them both on the same thread.

 

Again, thanks to VDN for giving us visual lineups and to likembig for his timely posting of the weekday lineups. It certainly beats having to call the G.

Is it true that Denise is going to charge a fee when you call the G?

Three dollars per dancer list, and four dollars on holidays!

 

But I understand where mercury is coming from, particularly if you visit the thread repeatedly during the week. This is no derogation of VDN, whom I love and will someday marry. Mr. Cooper is fabulous too. Maybe I will marry both of them at the G with Denise as best man!

Again, I don't see mercury's post as any negative reflection on VDN. It is simply a matter of placement whereupon the party of the first part has a different opinion than the party of the other part. There is no "aggrieved" party here! We all love VDN. And we love his pictures as well.

First of all, thank you merc for appreciating my efforts. That is nice of you to say so. On that note, thank you JT, VM,Lucky, and Cooper for your generous, kind words as well.

Allow me to ask you some questions and feel free to answer them here or privately. What is your reason for asking? Is it due to your connection speed and it takes too long to load the pics (dial-up service)? Are you a Web-TV user and does that cause issues?

 

If you have cable or DSL Internet service then I don't see how this is a hassle. If scrolling down is too much work for dexterity reasons or fine motor control (and people I am NOT being a smart ass here .. I am being sincere) then may I suggest a mouse with a web wheel (pictured below) for easier web browsing.

I have one and all you do is turn the wheel for faster scrolling.

 

Now merc, if none of the above apply and this is just a "preference" thing then, by all means, we can have a vote and majority wins.

 

Anyone can post pics and I don't have the market on it. I am a message center member and not even a charter member. Nor am I a moderator. But since I do the majority of the pic posting (and I have many people who send me pics and I THANK THEM SINCERELY) I don't want my efforts to impede on the majority's enjoyment.

 

Your response to the above will, if needed, necessitate further discussion and/or a vote. I also differ to the moderator of this forum as well.

Im just use my laptop and I have dial up. Sometimes I dont even get half of the pics, sometimes I see them all. Pics are always cool with me but I actually count more on your advice and the advice of the other guys. Descriptions are great too. Pics can often be dates...anyway I really have no complaints...

The pics really do add a lot for the crowd. However, I really don't consider this an onerous request as all the information is there --- just in separate threads. Especially when one considers that not everyone is on high speed interent and download time for dialup will be verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry loooooooooooong. And as someone else mentioned this is futher aggrivated by repeated visits. It seems really easy to accommodate everyone on this.

 

P.S. And those who come just for the pics won't have to wade through all the poetry.

Myself I own a "Logitech 700" Cordless Digital Mouse.. with all the Bells and Whistles..I love my Wheel!!! Being a First time PC User, I was advised that was the way to go! I also am "Cheap" BUT DO HAVE a certain amount of "Patience", therefore "DialUp" and I get along great, waiting for VDN Photos every week! I doubt WEBTV Users can get into the Message Center Period! Even sending Reviews was tricky and took a long time! Most Webtv Users move on to PC'S within a Year if not sooner.. :+ :+ :+

I like the pictures but I wonder if anyone ever uses a computer that may not be in the most private place to get info on the G show? Having text on a screen in say an airprt probably wouldn't get much notice but pictures of naked men may turn some heads. Now that I think of it, maybe that's not such a bad idea.

Welllllll,,,,,I had problems last week getting in this thread,and someone suggested cleaning my cache.These post can take up disk space and slow your puter down.

Cleaned the cache(I am lazy and only do this when noticeable)rebooted,did a "check up"and was still unable to access till the next day.

I do not know if this has anything to do with the pix or not,and I do appriciate them being here,,,puts a face with the name.

Now if only we could get pix for more of the Montreal dancers!

I think if someone wasn't in a private place and he didn't want people to see what he was looking at shouldn't he (an adult) use better discretion if he cares about others seeing his screen?

 

I think if he was just looking at a M4M thread with no pictures wouldn't the M4M ESCORT REVIEWS logo on top also be something that would cause heads (and the bare chested man looking down at "something") to turn?

 

Unless I am told otherwise by Hoo or a moderator, I am going to continue to do what I have been doing. Mercury40 hasn't replied with anything constructive, no matter how I post the pics it won't please everyone, and, to be honest, I think this issue has generated too much time and attention anyway.

 

In my opinion, I think people need to be very careful with their laptops in public anyway as more people with cell phone cameras are committing identity theft crimes by taking pictures of credit card numbers, items on laptop screens. Etc.

 

Foxy, I TOTALLY appreciate all the time you spend on the reviews! Though pictures are nice the text is the most current info we all have to go on with these fellows. I just hope you realize by me disagreeing with you doesn't appear that I am not appreciative of your hard work you and Cooper do weekly for all of us.

The above link to "Ask Daddy" has nothing to do with viewing pictures, it's a problem with viewing the forums. Hopefully, this webtv user will be able to correct this problem when he reads my reply. Sadly, if he can't view the forums, he won't be able to read my reply.

After using "Webtv" for over 3 years, my advice..Get a decent PC. The costs are no more..They changed name to "MSN TV",gave me a floating Butterfly Logo, Now they thought I would feel like I, was really on the Internet... that was a joke! Just calling "MSN TV" and always getting the run around, on questions..Paying $25 a month for email, what is on local TV.. and VERY "Limited Web" access is really a waste..And I have a Large Digital TV.. I don't know what good it would be with a small screen..I have my old receiver and Keyboard for anyone who wants it! LOL :+ :+ :+

It wasn't my intent to ruffle VDN's feathers so about his posting pictures. Obviously everyone here likes seeing pictures of goodlooking naked men. Perhaps if VDN would limit the picture posting to Gaiety dancers I wouldn't mind so much. It's all that other crap that annoys me. Like that enormous "Picture Unavailable" stuff. Do we really need that wasting space? I can scroll with the best of them but it does get boring.

I still would like to see the pictures on a separate posting but if the pictures stay where they are I'll live. Some of us have more important things to worry about.

JT: from what I've read on this thread, no one has mentioned webtv as being their problem. In fact, those asking for 2 separate threads, one for reviews and another for pictures, don't use webtv. I do know a few members who use it and they are very happy living with it.

 

The issue here is whether or not the G-pictures should be on the same thread with G-reviews. I've already given my opinion on this matter and appreciate reading all others. I didn't realize that so many people were having trouble downloading VDN's wonderful pictures. Perhaps it would have been more thoughtful to have mentioned this earlier, rather than waiting several months to let him know.

 

I also agree that no one is criticising VDN for his hard and dedicated work. His pictures have added a whole new meaning to viewing the G-threads. I appreciate all that he's done and wish there were more members of the caliber of VDN posting around here.
