I must admit that after severals years of coming to Montreal, and past fan of Campus, that Taboo is growing on me with each visit. Even though I am not a great skinny twink fan, the friendly no pressure atmosphere of Taboo just beats the hell out of any of the other places hands down. Of course the company of Marc Anthony, Travis/Dallas, Tampa Yankee, and Firecat last night add to the great atmosphere. But, the dancers are really friendly sit down and chat, listen to the music cuties with no constant let's go to the back comments. To the surprise of my friends I did spend a "few" minutes ;-) with 2 different cuties that caught my eye. (Comment to self, wow what a hot ass on that twink).

 

As far as a Club in Montreal to just chill out and enjoy the show, Taboo has converted me.

That was a big wink about the few minutes in the back wasn't it.

 

We thought you had left , you were gone so long and then we saw your Jacket.

 

I know I left early , so I can't imagine how many more (few minutes) you spent in the back.

 

We'll expect to see you there tonight when there will be quite a bit of new talent that you have not seen!!!

Anyway, I have always loved the atmosphere of Taboo. Though I am lucky because I love twinks too, I have gone there with many a person who actually prefers a different kind of guy, and they end up liking Taboo the most to hang out, chill, and just generally pass a fun evening. The managament is friendly, the dancers genuinely seem to enjoy their work, and all of them try to actually entertain you while they are on stage.

 

Case in point... I am here now with Travis of Dallas, whose ideal guy is a more muscular, jock type who is taller than him (he is 6'1"). Oh, btw, that explains his attraction to me! (LOL) So though he goes to Campus and Stock to eye his particular favorite eye candy, he definitely spends the bulk of his night at Taboo, where he has actually become friends with many of the dancers.

 

Anyway, Taboo looks great these days, and the dancers are a wonderful mix of old and new. My old favorites are still there... like Damien, Francis, Pierre-Luc, Ghislaine, Yannick, Pierre (who has signed a Falcon exclusive agreement and already shot 2 movies), and many others.

 

There are also some wonderful new ones... like Ryan, Kevin, Jonny, Derrick, etc. It is a blast every single night!

 

BTW... watching the audience is always fun too, as many "famous" hot hot boys come in to watch and/or socialize. So far this trip I have seen, chatted with, and spent time with Liam of Flirt4Free, Louis of MontrealBoysLive, Allesio of Montrealboyslive, Sammy of LionMane, and my old all-time favorite now retired dancer James. BTW... about 3 or 4 of the boys from Montrealboyslive actually also dance at Taboo, for those who watch that (not the ones mentioned above, though).

 

Finally, it is a great place to "chill" informally with fellow M4M'rs who always seem to be in the place. Last night, I shared a table with firecat, Tampa Yankee, and Kentucky Top. First class company... WHENEVER THEY WERE AT THE TABLE! hehe. They spent so much time in the back, it was downright embarrassing! LOLOL

Last night I arrived a little late at Taboo, due to a stop at Stock, (Yes I still also like toned muscle Fratboys, nothing like having a wide taste in men). What a surprise when I walked in. TotallyOz and Ryan/NYC had arrived. (Of course I really shouldn't be THAT surprised. Oz is like a King in this place.) Their arrival made this trip complete for me and it was Great to see my friends again. Time passed way too fast last night.

 

Firecat was right about the New Talent at Taboo I had not seen. More friendly guys with hot asses and a guy with a set of nipples like I've never seen. Many were toned almost Fratboy types (like the Hot nipple guy). Of course Firecat and Marc Anthony introduced me to them all. Since I am a top, Firecat liked to point out to me a few guy's ass-ets especially his favorite Kevin. Firecat felt a lap dance with Kevin was a fitting dessert after dinner. Thanks for dessert:+

 

It is hard to beat the friendship of this trip and add to that all the attention from the Taboo guys and I see why so many continue to come to this place.

 

As a side note, my old hangout of Campus really seems to have gone down hill in quality, even in the afternoon. After awhile there Marc and I became bored with it and moved to Stock for a few minutes before dinner. Even with few patrons there in the afternoon neither of us was bored with the dancers or our time there.

Dearest KY,thanks for the update.I see that it is a lil'chilly up there still-so keep warm.I hope that I will be up there one of these days when you,oz,marc,etc...are there-y'all sound like alot of fun.

Your mention of a kevin brought up an old fatasy of mine.Wouldn't have been great to have been in Montreal when KEVIN DEAN was dancing in the clubs?Ah well

PS I have mentioned I am thinking of a trip in late June,now I am planning between the Grand Prix(weekend of the 11th)and the Jazz fest(starts the last weekend in June)

Keep us up to date with your reports.

Oh... forgot to mention on earlier posts that Taboo now allows you to take two dancers in the back at once... sort of an erotic couples show in the back. Normally, I would say that this is not worth your money, as you really want the dancers to pay attention to you and not each other. And since they aren't allowed to actually "really" touch each other in doing this, it usually isn't worth the double time price.

 

That having been said, I had Criss (one of my all time favorite dancers, which shows that I am not exclusively stuck on twinks) in the back. What a fucking HOTTIE! He gets better with age. Anyway... I digress. Damien finishes a dance in the cubicle right next to ours, so I quickly grab him and have them start with a duo. Talk about being in heaven. After watching Damien AND Criss gyrate in front of me for a bunch of songs, it was really hard to get myself to take anyone else into the back. Didn't want to fade that mental image! LOL

 

Later, I saw Tampa do the same with Pierre-Luc and Damien. I never did ask him how much he enjoyed that... but judging from the grin on his face, I think I know what the answer is.

Well just got home after a great trip. Want to say a special thanks to firecat. Great to meet you and I felt like you were my Host for each evening. Loved your running commentary on some of the guys. Sort of like Cooper at the Gaiety in NYC. Always great to see Marc and Oz and Ryan/NYC again.

 

Note to Tampa Yankee. Ong is patiently waiting for repeat of your night out dancing. Don't keep the sexy boy waiting toooo long now, ya' hear.;-)

Well, here I sit, in the PressCafe the parade has left town leaving me to turn out the lights as usual. :) The last of it with Oz and Company boarding the train back to the BIg Apple. The day before, Marc and Ky_Top vacating the premises but leaving everything in working order -- it seems... lol. Lots of fun as usual. Big thanks to KY_Top for bringing ONG to town and allowing me to occupy some of his time at the club while KY was in the back room doing his aerobic exercises. :D Very geneorus of you KY.

Wow! What a great weekend we just had. First, it was great to have 2 NYC escorts as my dates for the weekend. Escort Ryan and Sebastian from Campus went up to Montreal with me. Both were great fun and enjoyable. I have traveled with Ryan in the past many times and know I will always have a fun weekend. This was my first weekend trip with Sebastian from Campus and I know it will not be my last one. He was simply adorable and enjoyable from the first moment until the last one.

 

As always, it was great fun to meet Marc Anthony and Tampa Yankee up there. Firecat is the ultimate source of info for all the boys at the clubs as well as the agencies. His advice is always top notch.

 

It was great to meet up with KY-Top and to meet his date Ong.

 

Travis of Denver now Dallas is fantastic. Meeting him my first time this week let me know why Marc Anthony adores his so.

 

The boys from Taboo were fabulous as always. The management is great and the boys make the place like the Taboo I have always loved.

 

Thanks to everyone for making this past weekend such a wonderful experience!

Crowne Plaza and Novotel

 

It was more difficult than usual to obtain a winning bid this last week. Both bids succeeded at $60, higher than I expected.

 

Crowne Plaza: Berri and Sherbrooke. On the plus side: easy wallking distance to the village -- three of longish blocks to the Gouverneur. The walk back is much longer due to the fact that one block is uphill. I also had a great view of Montreal from the 17th floor.

 

Cons: The hotel decor is dated, bathrooms dated and small. Hot water was only lukewarm at most times. Only one mid-day shower found hot water. No bath towells upon check in and although they appeared the second day they were MIA the third. On the plus side when I called to inquire they were promply delivered. The bedding was barely adequate. The Crowne is certainly not that by any stretch -- definitely a big notch below the Delta and Gouverneur IMO.

 

Novotel: Rene Levesque Blvd and Rue de la Montagne in the heart of the straight club district. Although listed as a 3* it had more the feel of a 2.5* ,a nice one. Smaller room but clean, bedding adequate, lots of newish furniture somewhat on the budget side. The bathroom was spacious with modern shower/tub and nice lavatory and best of all... it came with hot water and towells. $10 cab ride to Taboo. Not sure of Metro access.

Other Hotel Options

 

On my trip to Montreal I stayed at the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Olde Montreal. I have stayed there on each of my trips since the Hotel opened about 3 years ago. All rooms are Suites and the Hotel has free internet connection and free breakfast (if you get up before 10am). I actually stayed free my last 3 trips using Marriott rewards points. This trip I was given a free upgrade to a 2 room Suite with large bathroom plus desk area with refrigerator and microwave. It was a $7.00 cab trip to the village and is an easy walk in good weather. I enjoy the restaurants and shoppes in Old Montreal and even though it is the Tourist area it is still a very quiet Hotel.

uhhhh, forgot to mention... The Novotel elevators require room key card for access after 6PM. Might be a concern for the more discreet. I'm shameless. :+
