RE: WEEKEND LINEUP FOR THE WEEK OF 2.9.04

Cooper,

Hard to pick the creme de la creme...but I'd have to say my Valentine's Day fantasy would play itself out quite well in the arms of Francois after a candlelit dinner atop the Eiffel Tower. My #2 man would be Yannick, followed by Hunter (got to love that name). Anyone else care to weigh in on their favorite Valentine?

Brett,

Great job in you review of the Gaiety show this weekend. It's always good to read different people's opinions on the show.

My Valentine fantasy would have to involve Gabriel. Great defined body, sexy smile, sensual moves during the second song. I guess I'm a sucker for the preppy GQ look!

Come on guys, let's get the discussion going on the G-Men. Cooper and Foxy do a great job on their weekly reviews, but they can't do it all by themselves! Let's start expressing our opinions and make this a fun and exciting forum to read.

Lucky:

I also decided to bring a Gaiety review thread from the past to current message center. It highlights the dedicated weekly Gaiety Monday and weekend reporting by Cooper and Foxy. It was a tough job getting to see and be with all those beautiful, young, naked guys, but some one had to take the reins when NY Observer stopped doing the reviews (which I really enjoyed NYO's weekly awards-type review format, too). Also, I was there that weekend.

Also, this Gaiety post also included a typical Lucky "monkey wrench" joke that several frequent posters didn't catch the tongue-in-check Lucky-style humor immediately-they got confused. A classic Lucky post.

Enjoy, the nostalgia. And I also miss the Gaiety not being there to go to after a weekend Broadway show or when you had an hour or two to kill in the afternoon, while in Midtown.

Hey, it's a great thread, JP! Thanks for bringing it back up. I hadn't realized that I had seen Danny at the G when I met him in Montreal. Definitely a very cute guy.

We are indeed indebted to those who worked so hard to bring us these reviews. Somewhere the Blue Light is burning for NYO, Cooper and Foxy. Cooper especially has brought this forum to life and enabled us to focus on the real joys of life...male strippers! Thanks!

RE: Where are they now?

The lineup at the 6:15 show:

1. Gabriel

2. Tyler

3. Ben

4. Danny

5. Francois

6. Marlone

7. Nico

8. Hunter

9. Shane Rollins

10.Yannick

11.Dean

12.Leo

Thanks Lucky and JP for searching the archives for some fond Gaiety memories. Looks like you both selected lineups that featured your favorite dancers.:-)

As to where these guys are today, thanks to JP, we all know where we can find Ben dancing, but as for the others, Shane Rollins, (porn star and dancer at Nob Hill) and Marlone, they still dance at Madrigals. Danny can be found at Stock and now in magazine ads as the model for "Gregg" underwear line. Tyler is rumored to be back in NY but that hasn't been confirmed. As for the others, I have no updates.
