Longshot - Sneakers/Rascals in Jamestown, NY

Hey all,

 

I'm wondering if any of you have been to either Sneakers or Rascals in Jamestown, NY? (I know there is another Sneakers in Toronto - this is NOT the same one.) Thinking of going to Sneakers tonight and checking it out (bars/clubs aren't usually my deal because I'm so damned shy, but I like to try it occasionally - never know what could happen). Just wondering if anyone has been there, or to Rascals which is also supposed to be in Jamestown. (I'm going to Sneakers this time because my source said it's generally a younger crowd.)

Just thought I'd put a mini-report for those interested. Well, Sneakers was a nice enough place. I didn't know what to expect, and there weren't any strippers or male dancers or anything unfortunately (no escorts that I could find either). [in fact, I guess it's technically a lesbian bar, but a lot of gay guys go there sometimes too.] Some cute guys in and out, and I met some friendly people. Overall, a pretty nice pub, but nothing more.

 

I'll probably go back again sometime. Next time I'm up that way, I think I'll give Rascals a try though.

 

I wish I was more comfortable with the bar scene - I'm so NERVOUS in there. Did dance a bit and play pool for the first time though.
