I need your help!!! I'm planning a trip to Atlanta next month. Could someone give me an idea of the current line-up at Swinging Richards? I have not been in several years, and wanted to know what has changed and who was dancing now. I visit Swinging Richards once or twice a month and am actually planning to be there tonite. Here's my take. Some of the dancers may be available for privates. But most make their money in "VIPs" which are semi private rooms in the VIP lounge. There are a number of good looking guys but for the most part they are straight. Even if you find a guy willing to give a "private show" his activities will be fairly limited.

 

If you are looking for sex I don't think you'll be able to find your guy at Richards...and I really can't help you with finding escorts in Atlanta.

 

But with re: to the dancers at Richards...some of my favorites are Samson, Chipper, Craig, Jordan, Jada, Ethan. As with anything, there will be a few duds as well. If you go, I'd suggest waiting until around 9:30 pm. Hope this helps

I thought I would post my observations here as opposed to the FAQ as KY's excellent guide is up and still current in its details.

 

I went Friday the 29th for a few hours. And since I had a couple of escort experiences planned for later Labor Day weekend I wasn't going to try and get lucky there. So for those of you scoring at home I spent about a 100 bucks. No sex but a good time was had.

 

First yeah the cover and parking fee sucks. I know if you go early you don't have to pay the cover. But there are limited guys and few patrons. However a few of those were ready to spend some extended time with their favorites in the VIP rooms. As far as drinks well poured by the hunky bartenders but generally 6-10 bucks for mixed drinks. Even the dancers complained that the drinks were too pricey and encouraged people to leave early.

 

On the other hand I generally like Richards. While most of the guys are straight you get a warm and welcoming vibe and most of the guys are hot and friendly. And when you are away from home that can be a great deal.

 

Ok on to the guys. First the waiter Tom could have easily been among the hottest dancers there. I asked him about it ( hope I have all the names right) and he said no but was willing to do a VIP room session. By the end of the night he would have been my third guy I would have taken up on it if the money was available. I had my hand around the back of a dancer and he was waiting on a table hehind me. I felt denim brush up against my hand so I looked back and took the opportunity to grab a feel of a great ass. He accomadatingly ground back. I thanked him for it later and he gave a big smile and said "MY pleasure".

 

The dancers seem to be a variety of body types but mostly the college age twenty something jock types. No one really huge and no one really too young. Jeremy (?) was a very blond skater looking guy with a longish dick that while cute would have been too young for me. I generally tip twice for all the guys during their three song set and he was the most sincere about thanking me later.

 

Craig a dark hair southern boy with a nice dick comes up and says "Welcome back"! I was suprised as I hadn't been there in almost two years. So I agree with the other posters about him. He was probably the most expansive on what he seemed willing to do in the backroom but I didn't take him up on it. Nice guy and nice dick.

 

Cody was another cutie. Not as built (either way) but seemed to have a hairstyle and style that I associate with Atlanta gays. You know there are WEHO boys and South beach types. He was a midtown Atlanta boy. I wish you all could go with me some time and see what I'm talking about. grin

There were a couple of guys I didn't get there names. I wish I had time to talk more to one guy who was lean and had a very model perfect face. On the skinny side and he had the coloring I usually associate with Argentinians. Just a guess but seemed like a good guy to get to know.

 

My number four guy was Andre who claimed to be Mexican/Cherokee. He could have passed for Brazilian. However his accent was all Tobacco Road. Biggest guy there in the muscle dept. I think they tipped him like 5 bucks for a group of ten. The guy I most wanted to get a VIP from was a guy Storm (?) he came later in the evening and had a steady stream of guys keep him busy. So for most of the time he never danced on stage. An absolutely flawless body and intense blue/grey eyes. Mid 20's dark hair and perfectly shaped cut dick. Extremely handsome and I have seen his pic on local gay rags. He would have been the most obvious choice for a Gaiety dancer there. In fact I bet he has danced there. Definitely up to Broadways standards.

Just returned from my first trip to Swinging Richards in Atlanta. I can't really add much to what KY TOP covered in the FAQ and what is covered in this forum but I did want to update a few of the dancers and also express my thoughts.

 

First the club is very large and spacious and the crowds are really large and young on Tuesday nights. Fri & Sat nights are also busy. Wed & Thurs nights were slow. The drinks are still expensive and the bartenders are friendly.

 

Jeremy is still dancing, and is no longer blonde but he is very friendly and has a nice dick. His roommate Allen is also a hottie and is very friendly. Most of the dancers were jock/preppie looking. Riley is a gay dancer that has a body to die for, very A&F. My favorite was Dylan, an italian/american dancer who is very cute and naturally fit. He was super friendly and we spent a great deal of time together.

 

I personally felt that the table dances were somewhat lame. You pay $10.00 in the public area or $20.00 in the VIP Lounge ($5.00 entry fee) area for 1 song. Touching is limited the dancers are not allowed to get hard. Lap dances at boardwalk, cupids, and dudes are much better. I think it may be due to the regulations in Atlanta.

 

VIP rooms are semi-private and were monitored pretty closely. $40.00 went to the house and the dancer fee varied for 15 minutes. Although some dancers promised a good time, I really can't see how with the lack of privacy. Most of the dancers do get hard in the VIP.

 

The majority of the dancers are straight but did pay attention to the guys more than the girls. You do tip on stage but you cannot touch the dancer other than to place the tip in his arm bands and he might pat you on your shoulder. Touching is more liberal when they come by to thank you later.

 

I did enjoy the fact that 3 dancers were together on stage in the public area along with one in the VIP lounge area. The guys are definitely hot and alot of eye candy to enjoy. All in all, a very good time!
