He's a question for the über-techies of the board:

 

I have a .wmv file from an extinct "art site" - the site had DRM that required you to put in a password before one of its art films would play. Because the site has now gone the way of the moa, it's not playable because it asks for the "license" and there's no site to connect to anymore.

 

There are programs to crack DRM files but it talks to the site with your password before you can do it.

 

There must be a way to get around this.

 

Any ideas?
