It was so easy to tell which threads were new or had new postings. But now it is a real task to my eyesight to make this distinction - the difference is about a single step tone between gray and less gray or bluer and less blue.x(

Can't make any promises, but have you explored the preferences settings in the user menu any? You might find a setting there that helps you.

I don't fiddle with that stuff at all myself so I can't make any suggestions, but it might be useful for you. I know there's a timestamp/mark option that will help you identify newer posts.

RE: Color of new threads

I just went and looked at all the user preferences available to me and the only one two which seemed apporpriate were choosing between classic and the new format in the message center itself, and an option for message layout between "dcf, classic, ubb".

I tried all three. None had any effect on my issue of the color of the border of new comments added to existing threads (formerly brown, now apparently the same as old ones - navy blue).

None seem to have any effect on the intensity or boldness of the listing of *new threads* , or threads that I had visited as traversed hyperlink.

Thank you for posts!!!

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with this problem.

I looked for something in my browser preferences (Safari) but found nothing. I tried the User menu preferences, too.

Does Daddy ever check these topics/forum?

Daddy, thanks for attending to this!

However, whatever changes you made are not showing up for me. Still grey/blue barely distinguishable.

I noticed on the Escort travels forum, that Derek/Monro have an ! before their posts that sure standout.

Actually I think what Jocoluver is having a problem with is distinguishing between New/Updated Threads and Old Threads within a a particular forum Listing, such as The Lounge or The Deli. If the thread has been updated, the icon to the far left of the thread is a light-blue gray. If the thread has not been updated, the inco to the far left of the thread is merely gray. I think Jocoluver cannot distinguish between the two similar shades of gray. As opposed to distinguishing what is a new or old post within a particular thread once the thread is .

I always click on the "Read New" option, so I don't have this problem...unless of course I delete my cookies.

Guys! Please be very specific when talking about the elements of the UI that your having problems with.

I know that from your point of view that it's just one cohesive thing. Down here in the guts, the message forum is literally hundreds (if not thousands) of tiny pictures and display elements.

Regards, Daddy

Exactly describing my problem!

and THANK YOU, Daddy, today the problem is solved! The new posts/threads are clearly distinct from the old by the increased blue intensity of the icon.:9
