Query, Mate

On 3 October I posted a question in the Lounge. It said that I had 169 posts. I posted an answer on 7 October to thank the blokes for their responses. Guess what 169 posts is still there.

This has been going on for the past few years. Can't imagine how many posts I have made, but they are rarely counted.

 

And, yet, other people get to the thousands. Is it something about my log-in? Realize that it will not solve the world problems, but there seems to be a bit of cred if you have made a few number of posts.

This post is showing 170, so something is working. ;-)

 

The post counter sometimes seems to only update when it feels like it. It eventually catches up. It has been a recurring issue aross several versions of the board software.

Whoops, my post on 7 Oct shows 170 posts. Am I being obtuse?

There's nothing to follow up. It's a bug in software that we didn't write. <shrug>
