I'm not receiving IM "pings" with AOL 9

I just upgraded to AOL 9. In the past, with my old AOL 7, I would always receive a warning "ping" when I received an IM. I'm not getting that with the new version. I have gone to AOL Help and read all there is to read, but the only reference there is how to change the sound the other person receives when you SEND an IM. Any ideas?

In the buddy list window, click "settings" and then "IM Settings" and then "Expressions" (there are actually a few ways to get to that window, but that's an easy one). The setting you need to change is "Instant Message Sounds." Set it to "Play other members' AOL sound when they send me an IM." That's it!

If that fails, call AOL Tech service, and they will walk you through it. That is why you are paying them a monthly fee!

Thanks Guys, I did change the setting, and when I get my next IM, I'll be able to tell if it worked. If not, AOL will get a call.
