Buddy lists

I have gotten several notices that I am on different people's buddy lists, and I feel really flattered. So far, I've only gotten them from people I wouldn't mind being buddies with. But, so far, I haven't found where to start making my own buddy list or what the heck a buddy list does, anyway? I know it's not much of a technonerd question, but I figured this might be the right forum for it anyway.

It's in the user area. It's basically a way for you to keep a list of "buddies" (duh!) so you don't have to wade thru all profiles if you want to send an inbox message or an e-mail.

 

You can also turn off sending a notice when you're added to someone's buddy list. It's somewhere in the user profile and/or preferences.
