Polk Street Boys

In February I'll be visiting San Francisco for the first time in ages. I remember having lots of fun with the boys on Polk Street back in the early nineties. :9

 

Is Polk Street still worth checking out? Other areas?

It's dead as a door nail. Was there on a Sat. night and you could have shot a cannon down the street. You could hold a wake at most of the bars. Sorry to disappoint you, but you better grab a newspaper or check the internet for some action, because it sure isn't on Polk St. anymore.

Ahh, the old days. I can remember when Polk Street and Santa Monica boulevard were just hopping with horny boys. One could shop for hours.

Polk street has been turned over to the women. On occassion you will find a stray boy wandering the neighborhood. But most of the boys that you find there are looking more for drugs than sex.

All the boys have moved to the computer or the BAR. You will have no problem finding anybody there. But you are not real safe if picking up on Polk St. Also a very heavy police presence now, because of all the women and pimps walking around. I drive down there going to work between 4 and 5am many mornings and it is pretty nasty.
