The NY masseur thread has gotten so long, could someone just give me the update on who the hot masseur is now? My last masseur flaked out on me and I need someone new...who knows massage...who is in good shape...and, ...umm, well, you know!

Actually the original list is still pretty much intact. Jake at www.jakesbodyworks(listed as southerncomfort@aol) has only gotten better. I would add I also like Kevin at nymusclemassage,more sensual, less deep than Jake. They both work in the nude. Doug, musclehearthands@aol.com, doesn't but gives a great massage and does release too.

Well, Jake's still on of the best here in NYC. I haven't been to him in a while but recommend him to all my friends, who all walk away satisfied! He's sexy but professional as well. And I agree he's only gotten better - the first time I went to him he was still on 8th Avenue, and I wasn't that impressed. The second time around he was incredible. :-)

While Jake's popularity is a testament to his work and personality and I agree he is one of the BEST.

Jake's limited availabilty helped me discover Kevin and over the past year I have put Kevin http://www.nymusclemassge.com at the top of my list. Kevin gives an incredible balance of sensuality and therapeutic touch throughout each session. To me Kevin is also the BEST!:-)

I'll weigh in with my choices - just to help make this thread as long and confusing as the one that it was supposed to simplify.

 

In the interest of full disclosure, I haven't tried Jake - yet. I like the massage to be a real therapeutic experience, not just random rubbing as a prelude to a "happy ending". I also expect a massage session to last at least an hour unless the masseur has informed me otherwise. It's tought to do a real therapeutic massage in 30 minutes.

 

I've been using Robert (http://robert.nymusclemassage.com/) regularly for several years and he always gives a great massage and a very satisfying happy ending. Robert works in the nude in his studio apartment. Sometimes there are pets there (cats & ferrets).

 

I recently tried Mauro a few times and found that he balances the senusal and therapeutic very well. He will do body electric style massages and work with you on breathing techniques during the massage. Mauro does not work in the nude, but he still provides an intense happy ending (with optional prostrate massage). Mauro does not have a web site that I am aware of but you can reach him at Masseur212nyc2aol.com.

 

Another good choice is Roman (http://hometown.aol.com/roman9tall/ or http://www.meetlocalmen.com/mlm/startachere.html). Roman uses his bed and does not have a massage table, but he still gives an excellent massage. He saves the more sensual parts of the massage for the end, rather than integrating the two together as Robert and Mauro do. Roman also has a cat and a dog for anyone with allergies.

 

For the record, I do not recommend Steve (http://www.feelbetternaked.com/). Early in the massage, he announced "I give the type of massage that I would like to get" and did not listen to my requests to modify his approach. He was going quite deep and I asked him to go easy at first, but he just ignored me. I was really sore the next day - and not in a good way.

Hey, sorry we havent met. I just wanted to make sure that it's understood that I don't "random rubbing", nor do I quit after 30 minutes. I don't think thats what you meant here, but I just wanted to be clear about it. THe way the paragragh is constructed is a little confusing.

I have also tried Mauro, and he does a SUPER job of seamlessly integrating the sensual and therapeutic portion of the massage. And unless I was totally blind-sighted by his very cute smile, he was oh so au-naturel with me!!!:9

I have tried once Jack and he is really EXCELLENT, apart from being gorgeous looking. My only little complaint is that his "sensual" part of the massage was very much detached from the rest of it, I would have loved he would integrate it to the "whole" section.

For this I would recommend highly Christopher (http://www.musclenmassage.com)

who perhaps has not the perfect flawless body of Jake but he is (almost) as skilled as him as a masseur and sensual throughout the massage.
