Chaing Mai, Thailand

I may be headed there in April. Any advice on good bars. My preference is for muscle, such as the Tawana Bar in BKK.

Have you inquired about the weather in Thailand in April? It is the hottest month of the year. Granted, it may not be as hot in the north, but...

I did not find a muscle bar there. Don't think there is one.

I live here and have been trying to find muscle. 'My Way' is the best bar, but believe me - nothing in Chiang Mai like Tawan - unless you find it on the street or in the Gym. Nevertheless Chiang Mai is a delightful place.

It's been awhile since I've been in Chiang Mai, but I recall that Adams Apple and Circle Pub had a fair share of beefy guys. Adams Apple is a gogo bar, Circle Pub is a host bar. As others have indicated, though, there is no equivalent to the Tawan.
