Anyone know anything about [a href=http://www.mankindtours.com/index.html]this outfit[/a]? They were mentioned (and recommmended) by [a href=http://madeinbrazil.typepad.com/madeinbrazil/2007/05/tour_guides_on_.html]Made in Brazil[/a] I can't help but wonder just how personal their personal services are. }(

A few months back, I noticed this ad and site and viewed it. My suggestion to you would be to send a personal email to the webmaster of the great Made in Brazil site.

 

Previously if I had any specific queries or compliments-- I did email the wm, and he in turn did respond!

My other suggestion is to go to http://www.gaytravelbrazil.com and ask your question there, too. It, this website, is all about non Brazilians and their travel experiences while in Mother Brasil. :-)

You're back! Lucky and I were just wondering how your long vacation went (see the Carnaval thread). And thanks for the tips - I was being shy about asking just how available the guides were. I checked GTB but there was no mention of them there and I thought maybe it would be inappropriate - that they might be competitors in the toursim business. But what the Hell ...:7

I am still in Rio (It is the 15th of November.) Unfortunately, my six weeks of travel are to end this evening once I board that United flight at 11:00 pm. ...have checked out of the hotel but its lobby is the only refuge for me on this rainy holiday here.

 

I plan to take a taxi and go to Maxims for dessert and hang out there for a while if it is not too cool for me.

 

Yes, I truly enjoyed my trip-- Peru, Chile, and Argentina more so than my Rio experiences this time! ...will be writing a few things here and at gbt once I return home. :-) :9 :-)

I don't know how "available" the personal guides

are in their current job; however, I recognise many

of them as sauna boys, strippers and escorts from

my previous trips to Rio.

This morning the owner, a gorgeous hunk, of this agency was featured on "Made in Brasil." I sent an email to the webmaster and asked about the expertise of the guides who are affiliated because if I have a tour guide, I want someone who can relay history and culture, too.

 

The webmaster wrote back immediately and suggested that I contact the agency directly and address my queries.

 

Being handsome is an enticement, but there is more that I associate with a guide more than his/her looks.
